GAME DETAILS:
Design steampunk pixel airships out of functional modules and conquer the skies!
In the game, ships are viewed side-on, and their modules are operated by individual crew members. During combat, players give high-level commands to a small fleet, positioning their ships, ramming and boarding others. Ships and terrain are fully destructible: they can catch fire, explode, break apart, and fall. Players can also compete against one another in Internet and LAN matches.
The ships are highly detailed, teeming with sailors moving around at their individual tasks, like an ant farm or a cut-away drawing. The player's choices in ship layout are crucial, and an important part of the game is exploring the design space of different airships and their matching tactics.

I believe the fires kept starting cause of its structural integrity, That crap made any large ship I made act like it was paper thin. Try slapping some Keels on it until the "Slightly reduced structural integrity due to large size" warning disappears from the upper right on the screen.
You should use the spiders and marines in conjunction so that one can simply go around killing while the marines simply command and that's it.

Use Large tracks, not multiply small tracks, because there more efficient because the use only 1 coal every 8 seconds and generate 1400 propulsion. But the small ones use 1 coal every 10 seconds and only generate 350.
Whenever I play Airships, i am reminded of the plight that the Sherman Tank faced: in order to win, spam. many little ships will usually beat one large ship due to redundancy. i also specialise my vehicles.

Btw the longtakington barely needs ammo, you don't need that many ammos storages
Only problem with boarding is that it's SUPER broken OP. With 2 cheap boarding ships you can rush down like 5+ cities in a row right at the start of the game.
If they have lots of defending ships, you can capture one at a time and flee between each run, getting your full crew back. You don't even have to return to port, just flee and immediately invade again for a full crew again. You get to keep all the ships you captured and use them against the defences. If they have an army, convert the whole thing and then use it to capture the base. The only thing you don't keep are static defences when you flee.
EDIT: I tested that theory with the most recent version at the time of posting, with only basic marines (2 per ship 4 total), large map, default difficulty settings, harpoon racial ability (harpoon to bring down high fliers, but you can just increase service ceiling instead.)
The spiders are really OP. I mean, look at the reach and strength of that tether!
Because the back row of doors aren't used very often you can replace them with guard post and crew berths on the bottom to save space
I noticed a most liekyl unintended benefit to having the zepingtons be so frail: because they seem to break apart a lot of the time, even when you kill it'll get in one last bombing run. Only rather than dropping bombs, the thing falling is the zeppington's burning wreckage.

You should have metal spiders to clear most of an enemy's stuff and borders to take controll

idea time how about a fleet of assault vehicles like a machine gun Infront and Marines to board a enemy vehicle it's like a small cheep vehicle and is fast basically a infantry transport car and another fleet/regament attackers build like 3 cheep medium tanks cannons eny choice but at least add a machine guns anywhere
I sold some csgo skins to get this game and I'm not regretting it! I made a giant warship with bombs, some small fighters (with boarding), a boarding ship and light bombers, aswell as a light fighter/bomber

You should make a ship that's meant to sit on another ship
Even with two of your own ships, if they have a touch at anything more than snails pace they have a tendency to destroy the block on the other ship
I meant to make a fat, chunky ship make it go above an enemy ship and just land on top for the fun of it.
thats a viable tactic although always bring marines and place a keel at the bottom of your ship and if not supply hatches instead
Pilot AI tries not to hit things. The Stompington didn't work very well.

The longtankington is probably the least successful of all the ships you ever built. I think its cause the suspendium cannons simple arent as strong as they should be. Also, zeppelins are an AWFUL choice. Litterally theyre reckt at every fight.
