I've got a Terracotta Mk2 RS2000 Custom. I'm the 2nd owner from new and it has done just over 60,000 miles. Sadly, it has deteriorated over the years but is nowhere near as bad as some of the dross I have seen fetching £6000-£7000. I have full service history with it. I'll get around to restoring it one day so it was nice to see this car to reignite the passion of them. Mine has the chocolate brown interior and is still on Cinturato CN36's. I've only ever seen 4 Terracotta ones now including this one on your video. Most of the cars you sell are wonderful examples. My only regret was not buying a one owner X-pack in May 1989 when I bought my Custom. It cost 50% more money though... My other regret was not keeping mine in a dry garage (and not opening the garage door for years). It was heartbreaking to see how much it had deteriorated from when I put it in there. If only it was in the same condition as when I bought it, I dread to think what it would be worth with only 1 previous owner and 60,000 miles. Oh yes. I did once give serious consideration to fitting a 318bhp Holbay conversion kit for the engine. It would have taken it out to 2.5l and cost £6750+VAT to buy (a self build kit from memory).
Been stripped down, cleaned up, resprayed and rebuilt... impressive other than the few little mistakes the previous owner made with antenna type & location and a cd player which doesn't fit in.
I really enjoy your videos, perhaps one day there will be something I can afford! I appreciate lifting the bonnet is not easy whilst filming, but it would be great, if like with this one, we could see this more often. In the meantime, thank you,
Today's cars are so boring and fail to put a smile on my face. But take me back and these Ford's along with other makes were designed to make you not only smile but laugh and enjoy every second in them.
Wow! That is the cleanest, straightest example I've seen. Thanks for the peek under the bonnet too, AMAZING!!! 👍👍
Thank you for the kind words.
What a beauty, I had a mk2 escort years ago, wish I kept it
Great cars!
Simply stunning, pure art. A car that every man dreams of owning. Yet another KGF gem.
I think the top of the range RS1800 is the car everyone dreams of owning.
Yes stunning!
Nice to see one of these which hasn't been rally prepped
Standard looking until you see the Warrior 16-valve conversion.
Gotta say this is pretty much priceless in the right hands.
Thank you for sharing!
VERY CLEAN CAR👍
CRACKER.
Thank you!

Good luck with your efforts to restore it, it will be well worth your while.

Oh my days. I wish I had a spare £39,995 if I won the lottery I would buy this and a capri 3.0s in grey and play at being Bodie and Doyle
We wish we could keep it too!
KGF Cars must travel back in time, buy them brand new, and come back to the present day cuz all of them are immaculate
Thank you for your comment!
5 speed box? Is that original? Looks like a sierra gear knob
It is not original but an uprated gearbox from a sierra!
