David Gushee mentions how the concept of the creation story is not everyone's story. Meaning, not every man will leave home and take a wife and not every woman will be taken as a wife by a man. Jesus knew this when He brought up eunuchs in Matthew chapter 19. He does so in response to his disciple's response to Jesus' view on divorce. They were like (paraphrasing), "If that's the case with a man and his wife, it's better not to take a wife (if we can't divorce her for any reason)". Jesus then brings up eunuchs after the issue of not takinga wife is brought up. There's a reason for that: Jesus knew that males existed who would actually not take a wife and that there are various reasons for that. It is definitely not far fetched to think that Jesus had various kinds of men in mind when He brought up the subject of male eunuchs and that males in the LGBT community are a part of that eunuch group. I'm sure women qualify as well, but the text seems to be focused on males divorcing women and then on males who won't take a wife after the disciples bring up how it would be better not to take a wife in response to Jesus' view on divorce. One of my points being that if Jesus knew that there are those who will not relate to the creation story and it's supposed heterosexual interpretation, then Jesus' followers should seek to know that as well. After all, if the creation story in some way means that every man who leaves his father and mother should take a wife, then that would mean no male should remain single after he's left home and that premise seems quite erroneous.
The point is that god made a partner for man and it us woman not another man /and he said do not lie with and man as with a woman it is wrong according to his creative plan/0 He clearly made woman for man=only one way
And who will take care of the children when one of the parents is crushed in a grain silo or eaten by a tiger? Turns out God apparently DOES have a plan for that after all ..
Thank you for uploading! He does realy important work.
Agreed!

Ok but that was in Leviticus and we are only bounded by the moral not ceremonial/civil
Also clearly he did not make man and woman only otherwise there would not be gay people.
