If anyone's interested, Mono/Fury is a free VST or korg has an official monopoly vst you can demo.

The Digital Filter of the Mono/Fury is totally different to the original one.

Nothing beats the original but I'm suprised how incredibly close the Korg iOS app is to the sound of the original when comparing patches

Re-watching this to see if I can glean anymore tips for my Mono/Poly. I think you made a mistake though at 2:30. You set all 4 Oscillators to PWM, so the PW knob has no effect. It only affects the Oscillators assigned to PW. So there are 2 independent PW options (with or without modulation) . Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm up for learning more, but I just tested and there was no

Phase issues unfortunately. The synth cancels out completely in mono!

Behringer clone has a different sound but still the taste is there. i'll take the Behringer over the original because reliability and price (of course), and we have so saturated vintage music nowdays, not bad to hearing modern tones sometimes

Fuggin LOVE my Behringer Mono/Poly, and so does my bank account. Call 'em ripoffs all you want!!! I lost hundreds in value on my original MS-20 when Korg came out with the mini, but I couldn't care less since so many more (budget) players got their hands on that tech.

I think it may be more the rawness of the synth. This was not a synth for lush soundscapes.
