Thanks I am trying a mobility scooter (R-Pi controlled) build. I was looking for inspiration on how to handle the front wheel turning motion. This is genius and might just work for me, though the chassis is slightly different I think I can work around that. Please could you give me a tip on the type/model of servo you used? I guess I need to buy a 3D printer now to make the housing, oh well! :)
hi, sorry for the slow reply, the steering is using a car windscreen wiper motor and a potentiometer, its a little trick to use any dc motor as a giant servo, i can share the files on tinkercad if that helps, you would probably need to modify the hole sizes to fit, thanks
@@carldraper616 ok yes that would be good, you can send photos to me at edeped@yahoo.com, i will try and find the file now and make it public, my tinkercad name is A-Tech
A-Tech thank you for answer also i wnat to ask 2 different motors can turn with same speed without pid for this motors? Because normal brushed dc motors did not rotate same speed without pid. I tried with 2 brushed dc motor and it is not successfull. Motors not turn with same speed. I didnt control motor speed. For this type project this motors are it appropriate or not? Again thank you for all videos and answers.
very cool !

If you would concider uploading your 3D files (for the streering) to a sharing site I would be happy to pay for the download to be fair!

@@A-tech hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I would be most interested. Happy to share my progress to if you would want to see :)

Props!
Круто!
can you help me how to connect Arduino with hoover board wiring diagram and code for Arduino for speed control
Great job, could you please
:
1- add the Arduino codes
2- how to connect the Ps controller
thanks.
hi, yes sure, and yes i need to do the ps video i will soon
@@A-tech thanks for your reply we will wait that important video but plz make it very soon :)
I thought for a minute you were using a lead acid battery only. So is that for the steering? And Lion for the motors?
Great work! Insanely creative
hi, thats it yes, i didnt have the parts to change the voltage so just used 2 batteries, thanks
How far is the range with the controller? I’m looking to add the PS controller as a way to control my rc lawnmower
hi, not very far, 10-15m ish, thanks
Does it have some sort of software/electronic differential for the rear wheels when steering?
not this one
Hey, I want to do something like that what software should I charge to the motherboard and how?
have a look at my other video 'hoverboard motherboard hack'
What type of motor controller you used?
hi, this one uses a reprogrammed hoverboard motherboard, thanks
which motor controller use this scooter
this is run off a modified hoverboard motor controller, thanks

How fast does it go?
this one goes about 15-20 mph but the battery only lasts about 15mins
When I seen channel locks crimping a spade connector I discredited all the other content in this video.... Shame shame
you should try it they work really well and a fraction of the cost
