I’m loving this series. Two quite different bikes and probably the best advertisement I’ve seen for the CRF. Quality riding by both of you too, a pleasure to watch. Good job with your editing too: easy to watch and enjoy.
Thanks mate. You're right, I think it shows how versatile and capable the CRF300 is... especially keeping company with the big 990 all trip. and, thanks for your nice comment about the editing. I'm still new at the whole filming/editing game but trying to improve little by little with each one. I appreciate the feedback. Sean
The yellow flowers either side of the emu track were probably monster sized caltrop. horrible noxious weeds. Fantastic memories & can't wait to return.

Commenting before I watch the video😅. But I finally got my CRF300 Rally. What an absolute blast to ride. Gonna have many more adventures with this little beast!
Yes an awesome navigator. I'm currently laid up in hospital and have watched multiple other chanels attempt the same roads and got grossly lost. Well done mate , Cheers
@@ALpit1969 Sorry to hear that you are laid up at the moment, I hope you're on the mend. Dave did most of the navigating on this ride, so I'll pass on your praise. Get well soon, Sean

Great series Sean. You must have to carry lots of fuel everywhere, just in case your planned route is closed, and you have to double back a couple of hundred ks.
episode -also- beautiful / ( Hey Sean do you really needed -20-30 Hp, more ? .... we can wait for the new Honda CRF 450 L / Rally 😝 ) ★for wheeling and fun drift easy ★ but only if we could change engine oil, every 9000 km ★
Well done Sir. You have shown that the 300 is the little engine that could. One question, how have you had enough Internet signal over the trip to post all of the videos? Most of the journey seemed so remote. Are there cell towers out in the desert? Thanks and great series. Looking forward to the recap once you are home. 👍
Thanks mate, and good question. I transfer and sort the days videos on a laptop each night. I also try to get some editing done late at night or in the early mornings before Dave wakes up (He likes his beauty sleep), he's become accustomed to watching the previous days ride as an episode when he wakes up! A few of the towns we stay at overnight have mobile coverage, and luckily Dave has a good/fast mobile plan on his phone that I exploit. If not, we wait for the next big town and I upload an episode then. It's a bit of a challenge to get that all done around riding and sleeping, but it's been an enjoyable challenge.

The blue trees are a mental health campaign. See them all over here in WA
Thanks Mark, I didn't know that... I'll look into it and mention the details to make others aware .
Just what I need this weekend...lovely!!!
Enjoy.
Was just up therein April, broken ankle on Cordillo Downs Rd and knee, was dry and sand, great series, enjoying it 😀
Dam, that's sucks. I hope you're healing up well.

I didn't know that about the flowers. Hope you get back out there soon.

Great stuff guys
Thanks mate
good laughs in this one. Love the open spaces and the solitude of the outback.
Yes, lots of open space in this one.
Some great roads to head back on. I wonder if Dave knew what you were up to when you were filming the KTM next to the oil rig very funny
Haha, I haven't heard what he thinks of that yet....
The adventure keeps giving... and the 300 Rally keeps rising to it.
Thanks. And yes, it's defiantly the little bike that can do everything.
Mini ostriches !!! Australia is adventure and thank you for sharing your home and adventures
Yes, or "Big Chickens" as we call them here. You often see them and the "Big Rabbits" in large numbers in the outback.

Thanks for watching Steve.
Another good episode Sean. Woduya reckon the daily average temperature has been on this series. Cheer mate
Thanks Kiwi. Temps were about 16-26 during the days and down to 2-4 overnight.
Perfect, not too hot and cold enough to have a toasty sleep.

@Tow Haul, that has always been a dream of mine. Maybe one day if I can grow this channel further...

Yes, I was very cautious with all the road closures and tried to always have some in the fuel bladder... Just in case.

Exactly Luke, I wouldn't swap my CRF300 for any more horsepower unless it was super reliable and long maintenance intervals, like the 300.
