It really confuses me why folks make a general statement like that '...it's a rare thing these day's...' sorry but I'm just puzzled on what it's based on.
***** Thank you, Samuel. I've known folks who refused to enjoy life and didn't want others to enjoy it either. Bobby and I truly appreciate each day that we have together.
Thanks so much for sharing!! There are people who cant get out and see these events and it's such a blessing that you guys share the sights , Thank You!! So good to be a part in the sharing of the joyous times in your life.
EchoesOfAnAngel Thank you, I know that some of my subscribers can't get around too well these days and that's one of the reasons I post videos like this. We all could use as much happy time as we can get too. The spring gardens have started calling, but too much rain has put the skids on it. Hopefully next week will be dry enough to plow.
Nancy1340 Thanks Nancy, we have a lot of fun together. Now we're looking for an Easter parade. If we make it to one, we'll be sure to share that with ya'll too. There doesn't seem to be many Easter parades in this neck of the woods, lol.
Hey there!! Been wondering where you've been; so, so glad to hear your voices and find out you're still together and enjoying life and each other!!! Woohoo!!! Made my week. Hope you both share some gardening videos again soon. Thanks for sharing the parade!!! (I'm glad someone else out there appreciates parades like I do.) ;))
***** We had a great time at the parade and the next day we went to one in Nags Head, NC. Unfortunately we lost the video of that one. They had a beachy theme with a trash can band, a lawn chair brigade, a kazoo band, a big crab float, etc. It was good seeing you and Kay again! I meant to give you some tomatoes to take home with you and I completely forgot about it :(
Loved it! Especially the Khedive temple band, st johns umc (cool shot glasses) bagpipers and the mini transports! (never seen anything like those in any parade in Canada) "Thank you" for sharing and please keep the videos coming :)
***** We're still in the planning stages of the gardens this year. Bobby grew more than half the county could eat last year so he's thinking about scaling back a little bit.
LOL...Well here in Calif. where we don't ever know what the weather will do anymore, there are baby cukes/ read pickles/ in the ground. I can't wait to practice making the best pickles ever each year.
mediamaker2000 That is always a great parade. It was a bit shorter this year due to the rain and some entries withdrew because politics and religion collided. Oh well, there's always next year.
Good to see your having a great time. Going to can up some of your pork and beans tomorrow. Keep the videos coming. Can't wait to see your garden videos this year.
Linda Jenkins You'll like the pork and beans. They taste great and there's something about the way they look in the jars that is satisfying in itself :)
They turned out great, love them! your right they look so nice on the shelf. I also canned up some chili beans. Never thought of canning this time of year, but what the heck it's still cold outside. Thanks so much for all your videos.
good you are having fun & enjoying life, guess since there are no more gardening videos your eating can food from the store & the green houses are empty ??
hotxusa We're eating from what we grew and canned last year and we still have so much of it left that we're having a hard time planning this years garden. Bobby kept the small greenhouse going all winter. We plan on making more gardening videos but it involves a lot more time sitting at a computer than either of us really wants to spend at the moment. We missed out on a lot in our lives and we're catching up on some of it while we can.
Susan, I've been trying just about every day since I saw this new video but it won't play for me (although I can watch other youtube videos). There's just a black screen with a small revolving circle of white circles. Then a message that says something about it not being available right now, try back later. If you and Bobby are on the video, or at least your voices are, I'd really like to see it. Could you do me a favor and look at it and see if you know what the problem might be? Thank you.
I don't know what the problem could be. Maybe if you change the resolution it might work for you. You can do that by clicking the thing that looks like a gear on the right hand side below the video screen and choose a lower number than whatever is highlighted. For example 720p or 350p.
CentennialMagnolia For a while, several of Susan's videos wouldn't play for me. I ended up going through Internet Explorer to watch them (I usually use Google Chrome.).
What's up with that siren? Why do cops think their siren needs to blare during a parade? Why don't they be sensible and only use it when necessary. I swear, this country is turning into the police states of America. Don't get me wrong, police are necessary. I just wish they were a little more discreet. No one wants to see a cop every five seconds and hear a siren constantly blaring. The fire trucks are OK, they're a part of the parade but not the police.
Always good to see that you guy's are enjoying life and each other, It's a rare thing these day's...

***** ...and just like the two of you, there are generations of partner's enjoying life together and sometimes, their kids, grandkids and pets.

We appreciate every video you two put up. For me it's especially enjoyable to see you have fun!

Still missin' you two.
Nothing like watching a parade! Thanks! Bernard and Kay

Nice to see you two back on the tube again. How's the garden going to shape up this year?

Thanks for sharing - my son is stationed in Norfolk in the navy- this made me feel a little closer to him somehow-
Tlee Wiser I understand what you mean. I'm glad the video helped to fill a gap for you.
Wish we could see more of you two. Is bobby still gardening. Hope so. Later
Linda Mason Yes, Bobby is still gardening. He has lots of plans for videos but he just doesn't want to spend his time on a computer right now.
Good Times
I started wondering if you were in a hospital quiet zone since the bands didn't play. Was nice to hear the pipers pipe. good to see you having fun

Good to see you again!
Guys,
When are you growing again on Mhpgardener channel?
Wow! They had everything but a Kratky float! Well, maybe next year lol
mediamaker2000 That is always a great parade. It was a bit shorter this year due to the rain and some entries withdrew because politics and religion collided. Oh well, there's always next year.
Where are ya? I have watched all your videos and need more!! What am I gonna watch now....please come back!

This reminds me that I forgot to eat corned beef and cabbage this year for the first time in at least 20 years.
John Strabismus You might be able to find some corned beef on clearance, lol. Better late than never.
I'm happy with a can of corned beef hash. LOL

frank roberts Thank you, the Norfolk parade never disappoints.

Hey that looked like fun!!!
weetreebonsai It was a lot of fun. We're planning on going to an Easter parade in a couple of weeks so stay tuned, lol.

Wet blanket much? It's tradition and kids usually love the sirens.
Nancy1340
Fire trucks, not police cars. Duh!
***** It's good to hear from you again. The parade was a lot of fun, noise and all.
