What make you think she's dead? Maybe she thought it is not worth dying for a guy who's always late, and went away with sorcerer, who's tall and can do magic tricks.
We don't see Jaffar or the princess in this youtube video, you see the prince came too late. Times up, Jaffar has killed the princess, and himself too, and this will be easy to know why, because so he could be together with her in death and perhaps lay in the same grave, this is my statement.
Yeah, I always found it weird that they didn't let you finish, after all, the Prince wouldn't have any idea that the Princess had only 2 hours to make her choice, so why would he stop?
The original was shorter though, so it wasn't that hard to learn the levels, I can't remember my record on that one but it was quite decent. Both versions have their own challenges in their own way imo!
It actually makes it more brutal because all throughout this time the prince thinks the princess will be fine if he takes a bit of time, not realizing that she only has two hours so by the time he gets there not only does he not run into Jafar but the princess is gone.
It happened to me too when I and my old friend played it at the first time for more than 12 years ago, in his old PC (he used a SNES Emulator at that time). At first, we both thought that we could never beat the game. Then, we both practiced so hard, and finally defeated Jaffar and his fucking obstacles.
when I first played it I ran out of time but I thought game glitched out because other pop games doesnt have that, I kept playing and then got nothing but empty room with timer
That bad ending is funny because the prince stays there like:
-so... what now?
Let's use his hand 😂😂
That’s definitely sad. I love how they torture you by showing the princess image in the beginning. Sadists!
This proves that evil viziers *can* indeed keep their promises. XD
Palamedes 5 ABSOLUTE LOVE SNES(1995)
When I was young as a primary school student I played it on a real SNES. I does finish the game in time. Remained about 40 minutes
I was expecting Jaffar to appear out of nowhere and kill you as well.
That would have been terrible for the kids (?).
Oh yeah...I guess the games of today had me forget about how kids would respond to that.

@@OdaVenom she could always "pretend" to go along with Jaffar's proposal.
OdaVenom She wouldn’t be the first woman to do it

I doubt he was grief-stricken. He probably just made off with some treasures and fled, or was otherwise preparing his next move.
I give you reason for the time function in sands of time
at least you can finish the game. the others were more brutal if you ran out of time.

I guess so. Still, it was really cool to finally see this whole game finally.
