The situation in Yemen has sparked international concern over reports of authorities there allegedly permitting their citizens to commit criminal acts against foreign nationals while penalizing those foreigners for defending themselves. This troubling pattern raises serious questions about justice, sovereignty, and the treatment of non-citizens within Yemen's borders. Bottom-line, if the Yemeni authorities have a true sense of honor then they will adopt fairer policies to ensure the safety of all individuals within their jurisdiction, regardless of nationality.

Every country has its own laws and if someone creates crime especially some outsider then that country proceeds according to their laws. Everywhere the laws are different and no other country can interfere with it. Maybe a little bit but in the end what to do with criminals solely depends on which country they have committed to. That's why if criminals commit a crime and leave the country then they are basically free unless and until the opposing country has strong bonds with the other but those chances are so little. That's why some countries have strict laws no matter if the attempt was to self defence or not. According to them A murder is a murder.

Why didn't she decide to work in India itself and help her country? Well, it's sad that she opted for what she opted. Anyway, this SHALL, hopefully serve as a lesson to others. My piece of advice is to be a true patriot and serve one's motherland. Do never venture to move abroad with a view to make money only. In life, when you do too much, a day comes when you are yourself undone. Once you are undone, you will never be able to do again. Stay blessed and work for your own compatriots. Money has NEVER been everything in life.

Once the court ends with a verdict ... the rulers should have the pardons board convene with mercy in mind.
A lady in a foreign land is especially vulnerable to exploitation.
As Muslims remember the case of Aafia Siddique, a Pakistani neuroscientist and educator, a lady and a mother taken into custody for defending herself while in custody taken to the US to undergo 86 years of imprisonment. Only the Almighty knows what she is going through.
Remember even Rasulullah SAW had to wait for divine revelation to know his beloved wife Aisha's (May Allah Be Pleased With Her) innocence after being accused to be involved in a scandal. May the rulers in Yemen have mercy on the life of the Kerala nurse. Your rewards will be in the hereafter. A plead from a Muslim brother in Malaysia.
