I'll answer your question about the aluminum pucks. My Marik dice show signs of wear on the edges and I've only played with them once. The anodization seems to be protecting the faces well-enough. I have a lot of off-table incidents onto hardwood floors so it is a real test :)
I have them as well. I don't think the (essentially coated paper) case is worthy of the price. And the lid should be deeper to be able to use as a rolling tray. The red isn't correct to match the "40" theme. It should be closer to the KS Kurita red dice. I was disappointed and would not recommend at full price.
That is a great idea about the box being a dice tray effectively! I recently have noticed that the dice are not as precise so I will do a follow up video.
Thanks for showing the liquid core dice so close-up. I didn't get these during the KS and this is by far the best view I've seen.
