A bargain for all of the technology and a case/bracelet that is such high quality. I have one with the carbon fiber dial. Very underrated. Longines stopped production in 2022 … grab one now! Great bargains out there. Can’t beat this watch.
Truly said ! I just bought the GMT version with the white dial !! Stunning looking watch !! And the prices going up again ! To bad Aron didn't do the review video on the watch!! Seems he doesn't do any videos anymore ......
@@cguide2598 As it happens I am wearing it now, I think it looks really smart, I hadn't worn it for about 4/5 my months so I had it on standby mode, great that it goes to the correct time and date when I start wearing it again, I also like the look of the new sports green one.
Citizen has made a watch that is +/- 3 seconds per year before, but now they just came out with a watch accurate to 1 second per year, the Caliber 0100
are these watches substantially different than the certina precidrive thermocompensated quartz movements that are cronometer certified? certinas get discounted more than longines online usually but their quality is great in my experience. its very hard to decide, thanks for the review
I'd have to research that specifically. To be clear, the Breitling Superquartz in the modern aerospace is also COSC certified. However, the VHP cuts the Superquartz's variance rate in half. At the time I was researching it I think only Citizen has something equivalent.
Thanks Aaron. I just bought one of these and have had it for about 5 days. Keep an eye on your watch accuracy as mine is 2 seconds fast over this time. I suspect the answer to your question re: why no marketing hype may be because this watch has been rushed to market. I have doubt that ETA have delivered a movement that can operate within the specified tolerances. I hope I am wrong.
Absolutely amazing watch, just too bad that they have that bracelet with the butterfly clasp, making it impossible to micro-adjust your fit. For a $1000 watch, you shouldn't have to replace the bracelet out of the box.
I'm gonna reward myself with this watch on my 12months sobriety
Thats cool dude. I've got 12 and just bought one...
I just bought the white dial version. Thanks for the short review, lots of useful information about the features!
Just got one of these for super cheap out of the box at one of their boutiques, even if they stopped production they´ve clearly still got a few!

The Seiko that we kept getting a glimpse of, that curved nice and flat on your wrist, made the Longines look lackluster & stole the show.
hi, what seiko prospex model do you have on in the video? thanks
There's the 36mm version of the same watch?
How does one stop the second hand? It is pulled out once more past the position we saw that changes the hours?
Thanks for this. Are you still happy with it? 50 meter water resistance is enough?
What seiko is that? I like it
Hi Aaron, are You still workin on that full review? Im preety close on gettin that one. The geek factor is even better than 9f
Beautiful. I am thinking of getting one. I have a few automatic watches I do not wear . I can sell them . I am not a big collector anyway .
Nice watch, just bought the VHP GMT and it's really quite amazing tech for the price..
Dude sweet watch! I'm considering getting the carbon fiber dial version.
Saw the yesterday it look fantastic
Steven Twoclouds That is the one I have
Got that one its ten times better and fucking gorgeous
@@patrickohara3991 How is it? What you love and what's you prefer be different if ?

Does the seconds hand actually line up with all the indices?
Yes.
Cool video Aaron!
Do I've a problem with internet connection, or Longines with automatic movement?
This watch doesn't need an automatic movement. It is basically the most accurate watch you can buy.
Hi, what is thr weight of this watch?
Citizen has made a watch that is +/- 3 seconds per year before, but now they just came out with a watch accurate to 1 second per year, the Caliber 0100
it is a concept and it will never be for sale so it doesnt count. it says it on the citizen website.
When it comes time for a battery change must it be done by Longines?
I believe you have a period of 3 or 5 days to change the battery before it resets and you have to send it back too longines.
@David Topchiev
When automatics need service, you send it back to, no? I change batteries myself. I dont know what everyone is afraid of. Easy peasy
@David Topchiev You don't have to send it to Longines for a battery change. As opposed to a mechanical watch when it needs servicing.
dude nice watch!
Great unboxing
I have one of those in ALL black, I love it ❤️

I assume you set your watch correctly? Mine is still precisely synced to the NIST clock after about a week.
To update, mine is still spot on, haven't adjusted the time since I recieved it.
aaron_shapiro when do You expect to get the full review rollin?
Mine had stayed put at 2secs out too. It is growing on me.

Good to know
whats your opinion on the fact its not automatic.
My opinion is that since it's not automatic it keeps good time ;)
@@masondelpino8118 Good time indeed; mine is -1 second after five months.
didn't do a wristwatch check. Do a review, what Seiko is it? Is it new monsters? Didn't find a review in your channel.
Seiko sbdc053,check it out.
@@JB-qt8eh yes, i figured it out, nice model
Pure Class
Anyone tried to replace the battery at home?
Why would they ever ruin a nice watch by putting black numbers on a black face?
Which Seiko is that?
The limited edition they did for the Gold Coast Commonwealth games here in Aus is amazing really different. Now sadly sold out I missed it
Actually you can still buy them at chrono24
I m lucky enuf to get it frm india
Its an awesome peice, value for money

What’s the model no pls
I take the Seiko prospex thank you very much
It also glows in dark.
I'm not sure invoking grand seiko has any relevance to the watch you are holding. :o. Breitling yes.

Please drop the "s" when you're pronouncing "Longines". It's French, so "es" is silent.
Good review though. 👍
Say it again and this time correctly...Longine, there is an S but its not pronounced, its not an american brand or an americanization of a brand.
Michael W. I believe it’s actually Longjeans. Or longjohns. But typically I just call it thermal underwear.
Useless words of Mr Johndoe, BUT anyway, nice watch and nice video, except typical americanization
