Radical and important changes, I feel they are listening to their audiences and growing at a steady pace. Happy to have chosen Spline as a tool and community.
Here are my main impressions of this video: the content is concise and clear, and I learned a lot of useful information. On the other hand, I finally heard The rare , gentle , smooth , normal tone and pace of speech. There is no annoying uptalk or vocal fry at the end of each sentence. It's really great, the world needs to return to this kind of expression.
They dropped the ball on the Spline AI I've not seen one single video from anyone posting using it , seemed like a weird marketing ploy on their end to just be in the AI conversation without delivering an actual product to literally anyone

I really hope your app carries on succeeding & growing. We are mostly Maya & AE, and recently started using Spline thinking it would help on a few 'easy win' type animations. Since realised it can do alot more than that. The community is amazing & we hope to start posting stuff soon. Absolutely blown away by this.
I just bought spline yesterday, and my God do I love it. However I wish you guys made more video content, showcasing these new features! Would love more tutorial based content please:)
the keyboard video was my first impression of what spline is capable of. It is exactly what I wanted for webdesign. Thank you so much for that improvement and please keep on building this fantastic app. It would be nice to have more paying options tho, but I'll probably just get a credit card very soon.
The updates look pretty awesome. I think store capacity needs a big update. I should be able to direct a video from vimeo into a Spline plane. A scene with two pictures shouldn't through an alert of "you are using too many textures".
Wow! Amazing new changes!! Very excited to use each one of them. I wonder if in any time soon the Ui Scenes would be monetized. This will boost a lot the community's creativity and make Spline the default when thinking about 3D in landing pages and Websites overall.
@splinetool is there anywhere in the spline library where we can access the Japanese building shown at 8:07? i'd love to see how its made and all the components involved but can't find it anywhere!!
Spline is great dont get me wrong... but do people have examples of it going beyond this minimalistic style it's always on? How customizable is it? E.g. complex textures, detail, etc.
idk if that’s their focus/scope… don’t get the vibe that they’re trying to be a blender alternative or w/e, they aim for a pretty specific set of “use cases” of 3D
Really nice, but I hope spline improves in 3D CAD modeling for engineering design. We need more precision tools and relations between dimensions to develop mechanical parts.
Hi Spline ! That will be interesting to refer people Who have a massiv course for help community to learn more and advanced course on spline. We have so few content for explain how build amazing kind on your tool. Why you dont make an academy in yout platform with différent project ?
Another thing I feel should be added is an option to lock the axis to the world, or the element, or the view as its at the moment. Split screen options UV control :D hahahaha maybe that one not.
Hello. Question. I was trying to do the UI Scene button that could change the color of something in the 3d Scene, but when I'm adding events to the UI Scene button I can't find the 3d Scene assets (whose colors I want to change) in the list. Any help on this is appreciated. Thank you.
I'm not sure. An Alliance with Apple is an alliance with something that represents only a fraction of the world's creatives. As a windows user I hope you do implement something for Windows users.
As suggested X times, I can't understand why there isn't a TIMELINE as in ALL animations app (fron Flash Mx to Hype and Dojo(forgot the nam, direct concurrent to Spline) now, as all 2d vids & 3d apps off course). I could make stunning splash pages only with a timeline that's cruelly missing, Big regret, fantastic webdesign/animation (much pmore than simple local 3d widgets) potential, and no timeline. (With a timeline, Spline'd become the Flash MX for decade, as if dev team do not interest in webdesign but only 3d widgets, as that there is a lack in animation and web design for me, not usable at all without timeline) + and so many little things to be done that'd push to a massive new level in Webdesign. Yes, I'm frustrated :)

Figma SDK already allows you to create spline plugin in few hours or faster. The ball is on Figma community's side here, not on Spline actually.

Pls allow us to work on Dynamic Content libraries so we can do itemisation pickups thats dynamic and random instead of hardcoded in the 3d world
