Hello everyone... I am Lily from Indonesia. Thank you for coming to my channel. In October 2019 | returned to my homeland from the United Arab Emirates. For more than 20 years I worked abroad in Abu Dhabi City. I love animals; there I fed stray cats on the streets every day. I fed 10 to 20 cats every day in and around my apartment. And that's all; I used my personal money. I also rescued two cats, Clara and Toby, from the streets. Until finally Clara gave birth to 5 cute kittens. Now in my homeland I'm continuing my mission to help abandoned animals who need help. In the past I did not need anyone's help, as I had money because of my job. But now I need your help guys..

In each of my videos many people ask about the cats that have short tails. Here I want to explain a little about cats with short tails (bobtails). In my country Indonesia, short-tailed cats are common. We can see many short-tailed cats here, which may be due to genetic factors. So it's not because it's broken or someone abusing it. They have short tails since birth.

This is so heartbreaking. But we can all agree that Cobie died knowing true, unselfish love. It is easy to love and care for cats and kittens when they are healthy but it is much harder to love and care for very sick cats with terminal illnesses. Lily is an angel on earth for cats.

Thank you for writing that Susan. Even if it's "only that", it's an enormous step in our evolutionary journey. It is so important for Cobie that he received this love. I couldn't agree more and I reflect constantly on this theme (too long to go into here) and our dear Lily, by doing what she is doing is shining a light on the pain of our suffering, for us to understand our own journeys. It is so much more than "only that" and Lily and her work reminds us of this.

Poor baby but at least he knew love and compassion at the end, his life improved enough for him to know joy and what it is like to be loved. You gave him that so be proud that you made his life good at its end. I'm sure he loved you back for taking care of him and seeing that he was worth loving. As I have said for another cat who crossed the rainbow bridge while in your care, we can hope you made his last days more comfortable than his life beforehand was. Clean, warm, quiet, good food, and friendly other cats.

@@lilliankeane5731 Yes, it`s very sad, but it was a relief for Cobie in the end. He had to endure so much pain. He reminded me of Jack who died in Lily`s arms one and a half years ago. And yes, I also support Adorable Paws and Lucky Paws, but I appreciate Lily`s selfless work the most because in Indonesia the animals even more suffer than in Istanbul. It`s a poor country and unfortunately most of the inhabitants have no interest and no money for animals in need. I have seen all her videos and for me Lily Ivo is the most honest and warm-hearted animal rescue channel on YT.🌹

Unfortunately YT and FB actually facilitate these channels by showing them and not removing them after being reported. I’ve joined a class action against them for exactly this. It can be found on ‘Free Lady Thinker’ specifically against the animal abuse channels on YT and FB. As they do nothing even when the channels are reported repeatedly.
Hitting them where it hurts the most (their wallets) maybe the only way they will take any notice of us. Best wishes from Australia my dear. 💕☺️.

Oh my gosh. He was so grateful for somebody to love him, wasn’t he? That last scene is what will stay with me. So much suffering for such a little person. The holes in his cheeks were clear in this video and I could see they were in the bone, so I apologize for insisting you were wrong about his condition, Lily! The next I see our vet, I can ask him, but it won't be right away - I am curious. I feel bad about the whole thing, but I don't want to make Lily feel bad. He was such a dear little fellow!

Definitely something wrong with the bones, maybe due to bad nutrition when he was out on the street. At least he knew he had somebody who loved him at the end, and a pleasant place to live and sleep.

Oh Lily, I share your pain and tears for the loss of this beautiful life. I knew this heart-breaking news would be coming someday soon when you told us Cobie had osteoporosis in your last update. Without being able to eat, Cobie was never going to be able to live a normal life and regain his health. It was so sad that he was really starting to look a lot better and then declined so much after the dental scaling. You did everything you could for this lovely boy and my final memory will be him in your arms reaching out with his paws trying to cuddle closer to you. In his final days, he showed you the love back that he knew you were giving him ❤ I hope he finds his big sister Amora in heaven and they are now playing together pain-free 🐱🙏

How shocking, he was suffering so much because of the dental cleaning. Cobie may have had a bone issue or something else but the resulting abscess did not help the problem at all. What a sweet cat, I remember him as a healthy and happy kitten.
I also wondered why this teeth cleaning had to be done at all?...

They seem so rough with him . Sometimes I think we should give them vitamins and healthy diet and let the body heal it's self . I know sometimes we can't and need extra help tho.
