The tyre wrinkle and hopping before it hooks up hard is sooooooo satisfying to watch, and the Volvo at 18:12 spinning the tyres and watching the rubber oscillate rapidly even in slo-mo was very interesting to see.
You can drive anything that is running, that doesn't mean it's legal though. As you can tell by the video, many use the back roads where there's less to none officers around.
I'm still watching the video but at 7:00 you were commenting on the dash in the UR Quattro, I guess you mean a digital dashboard? Pity it wasn't in the evening and lit up, would be nice to see it.
@@Franksey180 The router is probably just part of Peters setup to edit/upload these videos on the fly. Not only are they racing, breaking stuff, wrenching and fixing what's broke, filming and dragging that caravan and all their stuff between raceways, but also editing and uploading the videos. The quality of the videos are impeccable, even under such circumstances.
Your work is impressive, congrats! May I humbly suggest you speak Swedish with subtitles, or slow down your Swenglish significantly. That goes for your camera panning too. Looking very much forward to seeing your next episode.
@@erik.... Same. I have no trouble at all understanding his perfectly serviceable English. That said, if he chose to narrate in Swedish with subtitles, that would be a perfectly fine solution too.
@@erik.... 👍 You are right, I'm sorry if I came across as condescending. Nevertheless, it's always difficult to hear outdoors speech with background noises and fast speaking but ok, I'll get used to it🙏🏻🤗. It's such a cool project and worth the while.
Vad är egentligen reglerna för Street week? Jag gissar att 95% av bilarna inte skulle passera en flygande besiktning om Polisen satte upp en kontroll på vägen.
Check your logs, you'll find the engine pulls down when you drop the clutch, adjust the clutch switch correctly so it doesn't bog down when you release.
The end of this video with the clips of random bits and music feels like your old videos from 10+ years ago of the 245 with 2jz and the Supra ♥ So nostalgic, I watch them every few months
13:30 oh man, I thought I regocnized that 164... Is that the one I've seen pictures of on the internet, with the supercharger and massive chrome bug catcher scoop? Wicked
Is it a requirement that you drive your extremely not-street-legal race car to the various tracks? Here in the US everyone would be putting their cars on trailers hauled behind their gigantic pickup trucks.
Streek Week was born as a Swedish version of the various US events like Drag Week and Sick Week, where you drive your extremely not-street-legal race car between various tracks. So no, you don't haul in US, in that kind of events.
Hi Peter! Very curious what gas mileage (kilometerage? Lol) you’re getting towing that trailer, as well as without the trailer? Love the build so much, amazing job!

thanks for the video, very cool moments from the track and details about the cars! How is the brake system modified on the Volvoghini to do the tyre warm-up while standing still?
It is called having a "line lock" on your brake system. You disable the rear brakes with a switch so you can brake and gas at the same time allowing the rear wheels to spin.
@@davidaxman I see, thx for the clarification! I saw in the interior shots the Peter is doing sg on the middle console before starting to roll during the tire warm-up process. cool gadget!
My nephew is on his way to Sweden to play hockey in the Lion's Cup. I decided to search Sweden drag racing. This video is awesome.
Im so pleased the engine held together. It goes to show that cases can be welded. Well done Peter!
Outstanding work putting this whole thing together. Your build, the crew, the videos, top notch! Thanks so much Peter!

The car seemed to perform way better (2nd gear) than the previous passes. It can only go up from there. Can't wait for the further progress.
Was impressed with the terminal speeds until I realised it's in kph 😂 Love seeing things like this, i miss racing at Santa Pod 😢
Yeah! Miles per hour is waay faster than kilometers per hour!
Racing, repairing, filming and editing to upload everyday, wow!
I’m so happy the engine and car is performing awesome
That slowmo!! Just perfect!💪
Thanks again man.... that mk2 escort is a wepon... your build is just something else love it ❤
Fint filmat och editerat speciellt ”slowmo” när hjulen kämpar för grepp.
Even Jeremy Clarkson couldn’t say those caravans aren’t cool. Good job on all those cars😎😎🏴🏴🏴
Super trevlig video med bra info om bilarna och sköna slowmo med skönt dunk.
Looks like a bunch of fun...Cheers from Downunder.
