The next phase in Israel's strategy could be to “blow up” Hezbollah leaders mobile phones as it is possible to “turn on mobile phones that are turned off”, says Col. Hamish de Bretton-Gordon.

What worries me greatly, is how many copy cats there may be. Anyone in the world may potentially have their devices explode. Talk about terrifying. We need to go back to landlines!!

@@evaluateanalysis7974 I don't in fact know because I am not military or a scientist or bomb expert but at least a landline doesn't have a lithium battery in it.
I'm not sure how expert this guy really is. Why he thinks that the lower echelon would be issued the pagers and the top people the point to point radios I don't understand. The division between the devices is that the pager are for communicating the leadership messages to upper level personnel while the radios would be used by relatively low level security staff needing instant operational information. So he has it the wrong way around! He may be an expert but not in this particular field.
