Ma'am, I wanna ask you something. We are a family of 4. Me and my husband wants to shift to London with our 2 kids. What will be the average expenses for us? Including groceries and rentals and bills everything?
Rentals are very high at this time. You will need to rent a 2 bhk house which will cost in between 1.5 to 1.7k per month. Approx 160 to 190 for council bill. Energy also will cost you more something around 2 to 3 hundred.

You asked to comment on how your home looks. My opinion is. Your apartment is not bad but if I have to be honest, I would never stay here bcoz the noise of the movement of the train.
Actually initially we were also annoyed with train sound but git habituated in 2-3 weeks time. Later we didnt notice train sound also unless someone points.

Depend karta hai. Generally 4-6 weeks ka rent dena padta hai advance mein.

Croydon is not considered a very good place to live with family but still thousands of people are living there...

They will generally verify and check if you will be able to pay rent or not after your expenses. Mostly salary slips and some may ask for bank statement as well.
