Hey Tim. When you had the go stix on your bowtech were you able to set it down using the cam as the third point of contact? I have a bowtech ss34 and want to use the go stix as a bow stand for ground blind hunting but do not have a long front bar. Thanks!
Go to your local pro shop, and have them measure your draw. Ask them to set you up with 3 or 4 different bows, and ask them for help guiding your form as you draw. Greek them you are brand new, and want to spend your money in the right place. A good shop will understand and be glad to help you pick the right bow. Shoot them and choose which one feels the best for you. Good luck, and have fun with it. Archery is a fantastic time, and great for developing discipline and confidence.
