  • Today we're talking about the several things you need to take into consideration when you set your x-ray exposure values for your patient. Getting good contrast and density is important because it prevents you from unnecessarily radiating patients multiple times. It also helps provide the best, optimal, diagnostic imaging quality for the radiologist/doctor.

I know this has nothing to do with the video. But I am really interested in becoming a radiologist. However I am kind of afraid of how hard physics is going to be. Did you spend 40 hours a week learning? Or was it kind of easy?

Just to be clear, a radiologist is a doctor that specialises in reading radiographs and diagnosing 🙈 If you mean a radiographer (who takes the images) then..honestly, the physics isn't easy. I'd be lying if I said it's super easy. But with the intentful study methods and maybe even group studies, you can pass it for sure

Thank you for the info and advice. I start in September and I am trying to see if this is the right path for me.

@@minicheff15 you're welcome. I think with any college course you do, you have to be prepared to work hard to accomplish it. If you get into the degree in the first place it shows that you have what it takes but you just need to keep pushing yourself. You'll find out what works for you 🙏🏽
