i remember playing that hame driving around police cars ans shit and my parents would be looking out the window thinking the sirens were outside and then id pretend it wasn’t me then they finally got on but thats one of my favorite memories with gta 4 lol

PlayStation 3, I always adored the boot sound and its simple interface, I remember the launch days of IV... golden nostalgia for those times of gaming.
Back then during the mid to late 00s Xbox 360 was absolutely dominating PS3 because it was cheaper and apparently had more games and more exclusives. Also most third party games were inferior on the PS3 due to how complex it was and devs just made games for 360 and ported to PS3. I'm not sure exactly when but sometime during 2010-2013 PS3 did eventually overtake the 360 in sales but both were still pretty close and both got destroyed by the Wii.
