Hello again Mr. Dash! Yeah, here I was just testing something out against the final boss and his late attack patterns to make the fight easier in case my submission to run Pawarumi at this year's digital Summer Games Done Quick event is accepted lol (i'll find out July 13th). I actually Platinum'd Pawarumi on the PS4 a few weeks ago, but not only that, I also became the first player ever to get a score of over 100 million. I livestreamed the Steam version of the game on Twitch about two weeks ago and after many many practice sessions, coming up with different strategies and studying my streams, I had the playthrough of my life and did a 103 million 1CC Heroic/Hard mode clear (the previous world record was something like 56 million before i broke it rofl). Ironically the Steam version is actually a tad bit more difficult than the PS4 version because the developer fixed a few bugs and exploits, as well as adding in an in-game achievement gallery. The PS4 version should get this update in the next several months.
The game only gives you one life with no continues so technically any mode clear is going to be a 1CC clear lol. Even the developer Manufacture 43 congratulated me and retweeted my livestream. I have a generic Twitch account so a few days ago I uploaded my livestream onto my youtube channel, it should be the 2nd most recent video. I plan on eventually doing a commentary video on my 103 million run, then also a STG Weekly commentary and hopefully the SGDQ event as well (though I'm not expecting to but i thought I'd give it a shot).
I may start playing Elliot Quest next. What all have you been playing recently?

@@drlight6677 wow huge congrats. So awesome getting a shout out from the developer. The indie gaming people is truly special. They show love for their craft as the players also do. Recently saw a documentary about indie gaming (games like meat boy and fez) and it really show things, often go out noticed. Lately been playing sleeping dogs (I know, not your cup of tea) and enjoy it. I also grabbed on a discount mark of the ninja and tumbleweed. Hope you get good news July 13th .

@@conraddash8686 Yeah, I heard about that documentary from I think around 2012 or so, I need to watch it sometime. Unfortunately I think Phil Fish the creator of Fez is now retired after several controversial incidents and him getting harassed by trolls. He made so much money from Fez that he doesn't have to work again the rest of his life anyway lol

@@drlight6677 that's the one. The mental toll sometimes is heavy for them. But like u said, at least he got the money for therapy. I personally haven't played neither fez or meat boy.

@@conraddash8686 I played Fez on the PS3 about 5 years ago or so and got about 70% of the game completed, then got stuck, started playing something else and never went back. I intend to play the game again someday, it's a phenomenal experience and one of my fav indie games of the past decade. I haven't played Super Meatboy but that's a game i need to play someday too. Unfortunately the game's original soundtrack has been replaced by a new horribly awful soundtrack because the game's original composer wanted his music removed due to contract issues.
