I have a stepbrother who sexually abused me when I was ~13 and nobody ever believed me. A couple years ago he was caught with possession of child pornography and was sentenced to only 8 months in prison. I didn’t know any of this at the time because I haven’t had contact with him for a very, very long time. Anyway afterwards I heard that even though his time in prison was short, he was severely beaten during it. Learning this information was one of the best days of my life 😊
Bastard still deserves way more though, but I’ll take the small victories.

The crime (besides his) puts your adults as guilty not to believe you!! I can't imagine my family not believing me if I told them something so horrible. I married a man who moved me out of state at 20, then became abusive and dangerous. I was so lucky to have made friends at my job, who convinced me to get away. I did, but was too ashamed to go home, he had broken my confidence and I couldn't trust anyone. I've been very lucky though, I'm now ok (besides the PTSD!), and a strong person. I always donate to the womens shelter here, as a thank you to the caring hero's who help the helpless...they and friends saved me from being killed. I'm so sorry you had to endure such a nightmare. I really feel sorry for Shane Golesby. He was not in prison for murder or rape. Being forced to share the cell with the molester of his sister must have been hell. He TRIED to RESIST the (understandable) urge to do something EVIL to the molester of his sister.
Even hit the emergency button to call help. And help never came! But even so Shane first succeeded in controlling himself.
In my opinion the prison system and the guards are more guilty of the final murder than Shane. Shane now has to spend his whole life in prison and has got a murder on his soul. That is very sad and a complete injustice because it could have been prevented so easily and Shane was fighting so hard to not succumb to evil.

False accusations are such a rarity, it’s such a danger to come forward, police agencies often convince the victim to drop charges or manipulate them and pin charges on the victim for “false reporting” and end up serving time, they’re pressured so severely for hours and sometimes for several days spread out. Documented cases of this, not to mention the social stigma and victim blaming of “well she shouldn’t have been drinking” or “she shouldn’t have been walking alone at night” kind of asinine bullshit, so these so called “false accusations” do not make it to charges or even court.

Not for vigilante justice, but as a victim of child abuse growing up in orphanage, these guys struck a blow for justice that was denied to me when I reported the things that were being done to me, and the hundreds of thousands of children who have had that, and much worse done to them. I grew up in an orphanage in the 60's starting when I was 6 years old. The authorities turned a blind eye to what I reported as a child, citing my imagination. I saw even worse things done to other children, but no one listened to me or the others. When I hear of a pedophile getting tortured/killed I think of it as a bolt of justice for the helpless victims, whose voices are ignored. If there really is a God, and therefore a Hell, there has to be a special place of endless torture to those who sexually abuse others, especially helpless children. Everyone one of the convicted criminals are also a hero (Except for Jimmy Ray). They shouldn't have time added to their sentence (let alone a death penalty conviction), they should have time deducted from their sentence, or at least suffer no more prosecution.

Retrospective evidence (it can take years to overcome trauma and come forward - how do you provide evidence for something that happened when you were 6 years old?)) is rarely enough to get a solid conviction. For every victim that comes forward there are many thousands who never speak up. Many of those who are caught have been getting away with it for many years. There was a conversation David Wood had on the topic of prison and what crimes get you cred and which get you killed, and his muslim viewers were like, "why would pe-ds get killed?" Even Ali Dawah, a big time yt-er and islamic dawah influencer came out with a video publicly saying, while he was living in the UK, that it's alright for muslim men to have "secret second wives." And if you watch debates with Daniel Haqiqatjou, he says it's fine to bed them as soon as they bleed no matter the age. This kind of stuff is even encouraged simply because Mohammed said in their hadiths that young girls are better. When I first decided to learn more about Islam, I did not expect anything like that.

I wonder how my molester is doing in prison right now. I might see him on one of these channels one day, i was 5 years of age MORE THAN ONCE, a child never forgets such trauma like that… i was molested by someone my family been friends with for literally over a decade. My grandmother always felt deep in her heart. Something was wrong with me and questioned me when I was younger, but I never spoke up because I was afraid. A couple years later he was out of our lives, because he went to jail for drug reasons. Then 15 years later, I was working at my grandmothers convenience store, and he walked in, calling me by my name, like he never did anything to me, and smiling in my face like I would never remember. After seeing him in the store for the second time, I balled my fists an was reaching for my weapon under my counter and had to hold myself back. I called my grandmother crying and told her what she felt 15 years ago may be a little longer was true. I told her the man that I was molested by was just in the store, and I told her exactly who he was and she broke down, got in her car so fast as she was speaking to the police aready looking for him, trying to hurt him Herself. I am so over protective over females/ children in general. I was raised by woman and i literally am only around women daily. But i got justice pssssst. I still wana see him on one of these videos hearing the story😂😂

I understand your pain. I was 4 years old and during one incident my older sister saw him and told our Dad. My Dad threatened to end his sorry life. He never went to jail for it. In the 1960s this was looked at very differently. We were warned against strangers, not against family members or family friends.
My love to your grandmother and to you, lilmikey. Your grandmother is a warrior! My love is for all of those willing to stand up and make noise! Because we as little children often don’t tell anyone until years later. It takes a smart lady like your dear grandmother to observe the behaviour and body language of a small child who is screaming out silently for help.
I hope you are doing well. I had years of counseling to come to terms with the fact that I was a victim and did not deserve what happened to me. Nothing I did was my fault. I was an innocent child who was exploited by an adult who certainly knew it was wrong but did it anyway. He wears the blame and he wears the shame.

This is a very puzzling phenomenon . If someone has killed a person, tortured him or steals from him, we tag him as evil. We think he could do things that are evil. We wouldn't expect that he has some sacred feelings. However, we see that these people have no sympathy at all for some other law offenders like child molesters. This feeling then is so strong that they commit murders to get rid of those types. They don't care if their punishment would be increased. I would like some phycharatrist to explain how these people are so evil but also cannot stand anyone who has committed a certain crime.

I find it really hard to care what happens to anyone convicted of hurting children once they are in jail. Sometimes prison justice is good justice especially when measured against the pathetic sentences dished out by the UK's geriatric judges who if they are parents at all seem to have had an empathy bypass for the victims of these criminals. The US knows what to do - a 50-year sentence? I like it.

    • @gabrielbernard5440

Unfortunally these high sentences seem to be rare. Most offenders get off with a slap on the wrist. If you r*pe a child you should be in for life and not be let out, bcs they do it again, and they might kill to hide their crimes, so they get worse.

Prison justice still happens on occasion. But most predators are housed away from general population, either in protected areas or sometimes their own prisons these days.
