Wow! I'm so glad I found you! I have been thinking about buy Sea Moss but not sure where to buy, so thanks for the links. I will definitely check them out. Also, you explained it so well and gave step by step and details. I can't wait to try it. Also, can you use lemon instead of lime? Or lime is better?

Thank you so much for the kind feedback. I tried my best to be as detailed as possible without making the video too long. Yes, you can definitely use lemon instead of lime. Their ph is about the same, so there won’t be much of a difference.

I have been thinking of buying sea moss. I've watched some videos of people blending it. The price difference between the blended gel and the non-blended is interesting.

Hey! I haven’t seen you comment in awhile. I hope all is well 😊
It depends on the retailer, but I usually see the capsules and/or the raw sea moss priced higher than the gel. The gel is convenient for those who don’t want to make their own, however, the shelf life is typically only 2-3 weeks. If you purchase the raw sea moss you can make a lot more gel multiple times, compared to the pre-made gel. Not to mention you have control over the type of water & the ratio of water to use if you make it yourself. The shelf life for raw sea moss depends on how you store it, but is typically 6 months - 1 year. The capsules are very convenient, but usually the most expensive in regard to the amount of supply (# of capsules), and the fact that they are more concentrated than the gel. You can store the capsules longer than the gel (typically 6 months - 2 yrs), however you may only get a 30 day supply. I’m always cautious of a retailer that provides a large supply for cheap. In addition, some capsules include other powerful plants/herbs/roots/algae to make it a combo powerhouse. For example, I’ve seen the sea moss capsules include bladderwrack (another powerful seaweed/algae) and/or burdock root. In that case you’re compounding the beneficial properties.
Overall, there’s definitely a few things to consider. In the end the choice will depend on your situation and the overall price compared to the benefits, the # of uses that you can get from it, organic vs. other, & the convenience. Most importantly choose a retailer that will provide the supplier information. They should be able to tell you the source (origin), how it’s prepared (i.e. organic, wildcrafted, etc), etc. I hope this helps!
