Please don’t ever change your music. I have been a fan since the beginning and am now 65 but I listen to you all night because I can’t sleep and you get me through.
Couldn't agree more guys. Abysmal interviewers, showing a legend nowhere near the respect he deserves. Also I am one of that younger demographic who never thought he's get to see them and I am so grateful that now I will. Thank you Mick.
Great voice. Listening to him talk, his voice is soft, and I find it amazing as to how he can hit a high note and hold it with such clarity. Forgive me, I guess I'm trying put into words what I feel. The one song that comes to mind here in reference to what I mean is , *You Make Me Feel Brand New* I have to tell you at 76, I'm still a big fan. Way to go Mick Hucnall, please keep on keeping on, you're 100% solid gold...
Simply Red has been an amazing true successful singer-songwriter since the 80s I let my kids listen to them when they were younger and I still remind them of the memories we had together don't get better than that
I have loved Simply Red from the very beginning of his music career. There will never be another Mick Hucknall the mold was broken. I can’t wait for his concert.❤️
I think no matter how the question is asked. Simple Red and his Musicians are so Delightful to hear. Great feeling of The Best, Fantastic!! Music, Aww and that voice. Well what can I say.. love it. love it.
He has the best musicians ever....terrible interview especially when she said something like "I was a fan when I was young dancing about and everything...." as if its that simple to produce as many great hit songs and have a career as long as Simply Reds, that music is just a fresh today as it ever was.
"in what capacity?" the male interviwer asked...twenty years they go back..twenty years...mr.male interviwer everyone makes mistakes, let the mistakes you made on this interview serve you well and hope you learned from them. The interview sounded more like a group job interview with Simply Red being the applicants for the job. The two interviewers couldve easily played themselves in the movie "the Office" .
Didn't they know who the Japanese guy was? he's amazing by the way, yes he's a newer member if you can call him that, but seriously do some research beforehand, Mick actually looked a bit taken aback by that and I don't blame him...
The question at 3:35 made no sense and even the band were like "......eh?" and the the bass player just said some random words that I'm not sure he understood was even an answer to what he was asked, terrible interviewer
THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING LIVE, ,,,THEY ARE BACK WITH US IN BELFAST NEXT WEEK AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN,,,,THESE TWO TWAS WHO ARE MEANT TO BE INTERVIEWING THEM OBVIOUSLY AIN'T DONE ANY HOMEWORK ON THE BAND,,,,ARE HOLES,
@@2788247 Hello. I hope all is well with you. I have a few people that I speak to in real life but no one I can really share my thoughts with that will actually care what I have to say. I am looking for friends and maybe more. People seem so despondent these days. They pay more attention to the online character of themselves they have created than talk to real people/people trying to chat to them online. I was wondering could we talk?
Mick and Simply Red - Don't you ever break up!!! I love your music too much! I'll have a panic attack! I want to see you still performing with your walking sticks and grey hair please 😁😁😁💖💖💖
Love it when corporatized robots get shown for the true humans they are. 'Kenji's been with us since 1998' 'Okay, in what capacity?' 'Uhhhh...?' Hilarious - the reason you cant see the right side of the presenters face is because Kenji had to apply a one-inch punch to his eye following that dumber than dumb comment
talk about an embarrassing not thought through interview, in under 5 minutes Mick and his band members seem to be a bit bamboozelled with some of the non meaningful questions
Useless and abysmal BBC interviewers could have at least done their homework what an insult asking Mick in what capacity Kenjie Suzuki (one of the greatest rock guitarists in the world.) worked in the band
I agree with you guys. It seems that these interviewers were told in the very last minute that they were going to interview Mick and other fellows from Simly Red. Their questions were so nonsense and even the band members sometimes did not understand what they really wanted to know. Instead I recommend this recent great interview by Pedro Caiado (he is Brazilian but he interviewed in English). Very interesting questions that made Mick feels quite comfortable and he opens his heart. ruclips.net/video/84Fxk6_4ClY/видео.html
I do get a kick about a "band".....it really hasn't been a band since their first incarnation....but a collection of sidemen/studio musicians.....and Mick......not saying its bad....but he's changed personnel over the years like youd change your undies.....still he remains one of my favourite singers.....
I've heard a couple of the group's hits, like Stars/Holding on, before. But I didn't remember the name "Simply Red" nor of Mick. But I will say those two songs are right at the top of my all time list now that I found them on RUclips and have played them over and over and also seen some of the interviews with Mick. I wish I could have seen one of his concerts in his early days. I really didn't pay attention to the interviewers, just happy I get to understand Mick more. They must not have been much of an "American" event, at least not that I remember, but maybe I was out of touch. I really like their music.
It's a shame that there are poepel scamming people when they want to follow simply Red, that levels an bad taste behind and people delete him on Facebook
Mr. Mick's talents are so very timeless!
Music is the universal language !!!! Look at the togetherness ! Black , White , Japanese ! Beautiful !
Kyra Harris not just white.. Ginger!!
Exatamente.💗💗💗
Amen💖
Beautiful 👍
Never an American.
Please don’t ever change your music. I have been a fan since the beginning and am now 65 but I listen to you all night because I can’t sleep and you get me through.
Amazing band! The bass player is one of the best in the WORLD!
My 21 YO Son has just got into Simply red... just proof that real talent is something to behold. The hits still sound fresh today. What a great Band

Simply Red for ever ❤️
Amazing band I love Mick voice I was there in the 70’s and find myself even more invested in 2021! These two interviewers are awkward 🥸
"What its about, is giving people what they want" He's so comfortable with being who he is, humble, sincere. YOU'VE GOT IT: MICK. Love you.
Always wonderful to listen to MICK gentleman-ny talking in English, the members of Simply Red are all fantastic musicians! 💕💖🎶💘🥰
I think no matter how the question is asked. Simple Red and his Musicians are so Delightful to hear. Great feeling of The Best, Fantastic!! Music, Aww and that voice. Well what can I say.. love it. love it.
O melhor de todo tempo.
He has the best musicians ever....terrible interview especially when she said something like "I was a fan when I was young dancing about and everything...." as if its that simple to produce as many great hit songs and have a career as long as Simply Reds, that music is just a fresh today as it ever was.
Mick Hucknall I love your voice and your music. True musician!!
Amo,amo, amo, Simply Red....como eu gostaria de ir num show dele😭😭😭
Kenji, the silent one! I know he is a good at DJ as well as on the guitar, remembering his radio show in Japan about 30years ago.
Surrely not the n’est

I really love Simply Red Band, his music Wonderful!!!!
Simpley Red significa talento, qualidade e Mick Hucknall uma voz iluminada! Para poucos Uau!!! Benção de Deus!

Mike is so humble and relaxed. His voice is the best ever.
Mick must have been glad that he brought these other two guys in.
I am 20 and big fan
Simple Red my❤❤❤❤❤
"in what capacity?" Well done Charlie, all you had to do is watch a clip and you'd know Kenji plays guitar!!!
Felt like an inquiry to what should have maybe just been a light hearted promotion of the 30 year tour. Really bad and tough questions.
Growing up with their songs! plus haha love Mick's Red club! haha!
"in what capacity?" the male interviwer asked...twenty years they go back..twenty years...mr.male interviwer everyone makes mistakes, let the mistakes you made on this interview serve you well and hope you learned from them. Simply Red wins hands down for best blue eyed soul band ever. The interviewers win the worst interview ever category !
O maior de todos os tempos.
Amo amo amo essa cabeleira
Brilliantly positive and wholesome music. I remember there being a lot more of it around in the 90s but perhaps just rose tinted glasses!
Love Mick you are a super awesome dude❤
canta hermoso este artista británico los temas son buenísimos
What where these interviews on about I love simply red and mick hucknull and I am 63 !
Crap interview but... As long as we have Mick's voice all will be good!!
We are Waiting fot that Amazing Big Love Tour !!!
franciscco Alburquenque ill be going to see simply red live on the 9th december at the nottingham capital fm arena
Mick should have gooned the interviewers, "ya, Kenji, what do you play in the band"
Didn't they know who the Japanese guy was? he's amazing by the way, yes he's a newer member if you can call him that, but seriously do some research beforehand, Mick actually looked a bit taken aback by that and I don't blame him...
Exactly.. quite bizarre

How do these people get a job to do interviews? Just saying😊
Terrible interviewers. Felt sorry for the guys trying to figure out what
they are asking.
I agree!

❤#SimplyRed❣💛
Estou curtindo meu aniversário des do dia2com
The interviewers, are a bit negative, probably jealous of his success and don't know how good he is.
Good God, with that glorious hair,, it should be long.
Meravigliosi ❤️❤️❤️👍
I love simply red ! But boy he is aging badly . He is the best singer ever will listen to his music forever💖💖💖
Mick and Simply Red - Don't you ever break up!!! I love your music too much! I'll have a panic attack! I want to see you still performing with your walking sticks and grey hair please 😁😁😁💖💖💖
Alguien me puede decir lo q se hablo en esta entrevista, solo hablo español.

Looks like Simply Red isn't the interviewers' cup of tea. What a shame!!!

Interviewers don't seem to know who they are interviewing. Lost opportunity.
Gostaria entender o que eles dizem. Pena não ter legenda.
and what capacity does Kenji play with the band? Do some research you goof!

Cadê a tradução?
Mick has always been gracious in interviews ... even when hosts who haven't bothered to do more than 10 min of prep ask the most boring of questions.
Some bizarre questions from the interviewers. I don't know if they were prepared, or what.
I do get a kick about a "band".....it really hasn't been a band since their first incarnation....but a collection of sidemen/studio musicians.....and Mick......not saying its bad....but he's changed personnel over the years like youd change your undies.....still he remains one of my favourite singers.....
+FMHammyJ well mick hucknall really is a solo artist but has a backing band called simply red. its like elton johns band really.
I've heard a couple of the group's hits, like Stars/Holding on, before. But I didn't remember the name "Simply Red" nor of Mick. stars = bigger than micheal jackson. no more needed
Por que Mick no tiene puesta la flor?? qué significa??
Lenny, Mick si tiene la flor...la chapita que tiene en la solapa...
- In what capacity?
- Guitarist
;)
wow he is the greatest in love
I guess the the interviews must be told what questions to ask by the producers, better if J Ross had interviewed them
Absolutely love Mick & the gang; but had to stop watching after 3:27. "In what capacity?" Really? Come on; that's Simply Red. Show some respect.
It's a shame that there are poepel scamming people when they want to follow simply Red, that levels an bad taste behind and people delete him on Facebook
Worst interview EVER
I thought the same! Very wooden!
Crap interview no kidding.
