Hello from Ohio! I have been learning Swedish for about two years now, as my boyfriend is from Stockholm! Your videos have been a ton of help, and I especially enjoy the subtitles and highlighted words. It helps to know what speed you are speaking too, and makes me feel as if I can understand a bit better when you talk slower, so thank you so much for taking your time to help others like me :) -- I also have been drinking coffee since I was 15, and slowly added less sugar/cream/milk as time went on, I actually enjoy drink coffee black now. Thank you again for the videos, they are so very helpful!

This is so relaxing. I love how down to earth and relatable you are. Love the style of video. I started drinking coffee in my first year of college and i needed it to get through. Although i didnt like coffee at first, ive always liked dark, unsweetened teas so, it didnt take very long for me to become very passionate about it. Every summer when i get out of classes i go through a caffeine withdrawal ( im an espresso drinker so my tolerance is super high) it takes about 2 weeks of weaning to feel normal without it. That withdrawal stage is horrendous though. The headaches, crankiness, and lethargism are awful. But i always detox so the caffeine works when i need it during my schooling. Lol

These videos are great, I find it hard to understand and follow native Swedish speakers in the shows and movies I watch - they talk extremely fast and it sounds like they mumble their sentences. You speak very clearly and at a good pace for me to recognise words and understand your sentences. Thank you so much Katrin!

I loved kaffe from the moment i first tried it... As long as it had mjölk & socker. Ive been drinking it for many years, since i was 15 or 16. I am now 30 😵 but i still need mjölk & socker. I would very much like to learn to like it with nothing at all- black as they say. But i like my kaffe strong with lots of mjölk...

You asked about our sharing our first experiences with coffee. When I was young I was not allowed to drink coffee at home (long story there) so at 20 years old and away from home for the first time at university, I had my first cup of coffee over breakfast at a restaurant. It was love at first sip. I loved the taste, and after I finished the *first* cup, everything literally became brighter and sharper visually, my thoughts were clearer and quicker, and my mood was elevated. It was quite a dramatic impact. Ever since, I have from two to three mugs a day. It helps us in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle) endure the dark and gray winters. I guess I'm addicted to it now.
