- Kubota High Limit Racing hosts the second Midweek Money Series event of the season at Riverside International Speedway on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Brad Sweet, Tyler Courtney and Corey Day all battle a third win on the season, while Kyle Larson, Tim Crawley, Brian Bell and Rico Abreu all experience big trouble at "The Ditch."

It's pretty amazing when even the other drivers talk about Corey , even veteran drivers say the same as you just did .
He has so much maturity behind the wheel for being a young driver.
Corey “the kid” Day shows them how you run at “the Ditch.” That’s the way “Slammin Sammy” Swindell used to run there when he was Day’s age. Awesome job 14! 👍✌️
Corey vs Sunshine is the best racing I've seen in years .
Ive been coming to Riverside since the late 70s, and it never dissapoints. I remember seeing Kinser, Wolfgang,Sammy,Rick Ferkel and many more wheel there cars in that gumbo and it was awesome then as it is now with these young guns!!
Corey Day has arrived! He handled that lapped traffic like someone with much more experience. Very impressive run by Tanner Thorsen also. Too bad for Kyle. He was driving the wheels off that car. Fantastic turnout of fans! It's a shame that more HL shows don't have a great turnout. They have a stout field of cars.

I was at a little track called Grayson county speedway helping a friend with his IMCA stock car. He started dead last and as I was putting his window net up I said just bring the steering wheel back and he flipped the car with 3 to go. I felt like such a dickhead for that comment as he was rolling out 🤦
@@darrellwhite3261 Lol that sucks. There are some things ya just don't need to say. I know that pro golfers and their caddies, they never say, "Whatever you do, don't hit it (location)" because, Duh. Nobody needs to be told that, so just don't even say it. Same thing here lol.

There is no excuse for a catch fence breaking like that,that needs to be taken care of before a tragedy happens.

The fence was too short and weak. It would have only taken 2 cars touching wheels at the wrong time. It's a miracle a car hasn't landed in the stands yet. The track promoter clearly knows the fence isn't nowhere near good enough.
They gotta get a new fence. I wouldn't attend a race there. Crazy.

I picked him to win. Hated seeing him get into the wall. I was sitting at the end of the front stretch just before turn one. I had a close up look. I really thought after the way he checked out in his heat race that he would be a handful in the feature, but wasn't to be. I figured it would be Tim, Sunshine, Thorsen, Day or Larson. Cory was just too much around the top at the end of the night.

Everyone goes through spells where they just aren’t finishing up front. Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, EVERYONE experiences spells like this.

The wrench on#14 and the driver are on the same page. Set up was just loose enough to turn without a glowing rotor. Driver used the throttle drove with his mind. Jason Myers told me you have to listen to your driver.

What a good lesson in why people should not stand near the fence. I don't want to be standing there when we find out if it's strong enough to catch a car!

That was a great race despite the track conditions caused by the water table being higher than Tyler Walker. I hope they can build a real fence so High Limit and the Outlaws can continue to race there.

@billkemp6017 It's a given that the racing was good. But a fence that's going to kill someone is going to be talked about more.
High side hiccup for Larson,and that fence is questionable.
The track itself is amazing. Really technical and fast. Everything else around the racing surface needs work.
Tri city speedway in St Louis is same way. Id be scared if a car ever went into the fence. No reinforcement and their fencing is old.
I'd say too much traction for several tonight, but an awesome track for first time viewing of me.
No High Limit races until next Wednesday so we will probably see a majority of the HL drivers at Knoxville this Friday and Saturday in the sanctioned World of Outlaws events.
Except the Posse gotta stay on the porch and race each other that's the only way they have a chance to win🎉
@curtishoke143 actually a smart thing to do for Anthony Macri to stay home this weekend with the Port Royal Speedway race paying $15,000 to win. Macri went back to PA last weekend and picked up the $20,000 to win Lincoln Speedway race and he more than likely wins that $15,000 this Saturday at Port Royal. This is easy money for Macri instead of going to Knoxville for two $12,000 to win races that he wouldn't have won either with all of the heavy top level competition that will be at Knoxville this week with the Outlaws and HL drivers. Macri does plan on racing outside of PA when PA doesn't have big money races. As far as the other PA Posse they don't stand any chance of much success outside of PA. Basically for PA drivers currently, Marks, Schuchart and Macri is all that PA has for competitive drivers when they race outside of PA.
Rain expected all weekend at Knoxville. Better to stay in Pa and enjoy the porch

What safety fence. I see chicken wire. This is the 60's safety. The amount of dollars forked out to get in a see these guys and they dont give a rats ass about anyones safety. Disgusting.

Been a Larson fan since he swept the 4 crown Nationals and im not gonna lie. Its tough watching him struggle like he has been. He actually is human after all.

WoO last visited this "place" on 4/20/18, a period of 6 YEARS ago. Hoping that Mr. Carter sees the debacle last night & reschedules Oct. event @ another track.

Outlaws been racing here since 1979, so seems to me that Mr. Carter likes coming to this track because he keeps putting it on the schedule...
B@@billkemp6017Brian Carter is a very astute businessman, and hopefully, with what happened last night and Carter's influence/pressure/whatever, it will indeed come to pass that there is a more secure catch fence in place come the WoO event in Fall. Thankfully nobody got hurt.

Pretty much about the worst night of racing due to a bad track surface I’ve watched in decades. Why run heats/B main. No passing in either. IMHO.

Try watching the race above in this video because there was no bad racing surface at all. Racing from top to bottom AND passing. You watched one video and commented on another. Just because the leader stays in the lead most of the race does not mean there was no passing. I know you are looking forward to the 140mph no passing zone this coming weekend at Knoxville.

Track is separating the boys from the men
Larson seems to be struggling against these minor league guys.
This isn't minor league, Brad Sweet won the past 5 outlaw points championships, Tyler Courtney, Brent Marks, and James McFadden have won major events, the top teams are split right now between the two streaming service's which are Dirtvision who broadcasts the outlaws and FloRacing who broadcast High Limit
At some of the major events like the Kings Royal, Knoxville Nationals, Husets speedway's high banked nationals ect you will see teams from both tours there. Currently the outlaws only allow their teams to run a select amount of other races, high limit teams can run wherever they want.

Thought it was weird that they didnt scrape the walls between races. Also, I'm not a structural engineer but placing the fencing on the outside of the poles instead of the inside no longer makes it a catch fence to keep the cars in the track but more of a fly through fence. Good race though, interesting track. I guess Day was the Lion and Thorson was the sheep
They scraped the walls after each race, but with a gumbo track, they fill back in within 5 laps
... except the stands were not packed.... There is a simple reason for it. As for the fence... it has been like that for decades. I've been there about 10 times and seen a few cars go through it. Just an fyi for those that don't know, below 3 & 4 is a walkway from the fan stands on the backstretch to the front stretch... if you feel like gambling, walk through there during a sprintcar race

@@TheRaudmanRundown It didn't look like it from the video. Normally I am at most sprintcar races but this year I'm a keyboard jockey, next year hopefully both series have about this same schedule and I'll be at all of them for the first few months.
