In the first airing of The Skull in the UK, there was a scene between 17:02 & 17:10 where the three used electronic shock therapy to stop their lying. In it, Gumball and Darwin realized Clayton was faking all his shocks, so they ended the friendship. Also, I'm convinced that Gumball's treatment of Bobert in The Bet was payback for trying to steal his (and presumably also Darwin's) life in The Robot.
