So the cool thing about Titan is that while it has good health (and good everything), the one thing it sucks at is status effects. For example, every other creature in the game has a bleed heal rate of about 0.032, while titan has 0.016. This same rule applies to all status effects like venom, paralysis, it even has the fastest hunger AND water drain in the game. This means that there's one single playable that can easliy solo Titan without losing health: Ramph That's right, RAMPH of all things is the best killer of Titans due to its Plague ability, which doubles Titan's hunger drain from 0.275 to 0.55, meaning you can kill a titan as a ramph in under 15 MINUTES. Paired with Ramph's other abilities like worsening bleed and turn radius, all of this means that there's finally a valid reason to have a ramph in your group.
Yeah, I logged when 4 rhamps started sucking my blood at salt flats. They weren’t killing me like that 😂. I also run the bleed hide, and you can get 50% increased bleed heel if you have the sub species as well
@@Valenayt The only thing about that is that it brings you somewhat close to other playables normal bleed heal rate. You're still technically weak to bleed since many playables have bleed resistance hides.
I love that too. It adds another level of realism, you can communicate a lot with only body language, and calls ect. I'd rather that, then use the global chat.

PoT controls will always feel strange to me. Today I had a 1v2 with a bars and a stego and won, but after that 2 concas just bullied me for an hour following me everywhere. Its a bit weird that a 7 ton super predator has to run into water because of some anklebiters can do anything to him without getting caught. :D
Haha, it's a strange old circle of life. Tbh, I don't usually use apex very often, but for most of them, the stomp is too predictable, and now the tail doesn't do much damage. They can't defend themselves very well. I guess the Rex has its turning on the spot, but nothing else turns that well. Terrain advantage is imperative in most cases.
Its not the controls, its that combat weight is way less influential than it should be. IMO rex/spino/titan should be able to one shot anything metri sized or smaller. People would play a lot more realistically if they couldn't pester much larger dinos without any fear.
To be honest tho concas bleed is super op and nobody is ever complaining about it. Like its damage output is the second strongest in the 2 slot class ans has the heaviest bleed damage even surpassing Tyrannotitan

They were harassing another solo Titan on the flats, so I ran down and saved him, then not long after they found another different solo Titan, so I ran to his aid and backed it up so they couldn't surround it. 3 of us in the end. I bet that group was fuming with me. I kept taking their Prey away from them. Both of the other Titans I helped just stayed in the open and struggled. Instead of going to hoodoo or anywhere narrow with obstacles to fight them there instead.
I was wondering when people’d start making videos with the juke bite. As soon as I saw I could do that the combat potential SKYROCKETED. Something I do is heavy bite into a juke, and then tail attack on my way out. Sometimes I just tail attack into a juke to get some distance and try to outmaneuver the target
Yep, it's a game changer, considering tail riders were the biggest threat to the Titan. Its horrible turn radius was its worst trait, but now its completely eliminated that lack of defense. Terrain still makes the biggest difference imo to success and survival

Feast sense, heavy bite, bleed calls on both of us. I’d bait out the tail and stomp / neck slam, heavy bite, IMMEDIATELY tail swing and turn while running off. Just enough knockback to give a little more room and permit tailshots over bodyshots. Apparently with all of it going (95% bleed heal reduction) the poor guy had death bleed for the entire time

I had a intense fight with a sub adult Bars on my Pycno. It's was on perma death so it had that added extra tension, it was such a long fight and alot of stomp baiting. I only really play officials and perma, but iv seen some really cool fights on YT, with those big apatos.

But yeah, the turning is Titans' biggest weakness, so having something to stop the tail riders is game-changing. Honestly, I think blood soaked is a must aswl.

i wish the devs could do something about multiple species of multiple diets working together. Usually "survival" games try to be as realistic as possible
@Toast_hub im unsure if its universal but the patch nerfed the dasp's heavy bite specifically. So idk if that effects the heavy bite in general or not but on the dasp the heavy bites damage went from 120 to 90. It didnt occur to me at the time that the same move might be different and have different damage for different dinos even tho its the same move. For example the standard bite for the titan says deals high damage and it also causes bleeding even tho it doesnt say it. But the same move and same emblem on the dasp says causes medium damage. I understand the spino bite being different as its emblem is even different.

TRUTHFULLY, this is how you can tell if someones a good titan player. Using either of the alternate bites, then using juke. with poor execution of timing, that combo is garbage. With correct timing, its actually a godsend.

I get what you're saying and could see why my buddy thought that too, but I just put it down to the same thing as what they did to the struthi. They ruined struth for my other friend, just by the way it moves and waddles after the tlc. 1 of the designers has a wonky eye for sure 🤣
that rex player was kind of dumb. Rex has pretty good precise movement. All he needed to do when you ran past him at the start was use precise movement to turn around since you didn't juke to turn around immediately.
I thought that aswl, if they just stand still and keep facing you, there's hardly any way to get behind them without facetanking. Also, that's a good idea, and I should have really, but I haven't quite got to that advanced level. That's something il remember and try to bring into my fights. Thanks 👍👌
@@Toast_hub you're welcome. lol. Also, Titan melts through Eo. They don't have a tail attack, so it's easy to run past them then Juke to bite their butt repeatedly while they try to turn around. Also very strong against Spoon. Honestly the only Apex I've lost to is Rex and other Titans.
It's most likely another Titan PvP vid, once iv played it more. I do go through phases of playing different things, but I think Titan will have my attention for a while yet. Its an absolute machine, and it's the first apex I get excited to play. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

It's a gamechanger, for sure. Someone else said you can do it with any bite, not just the heavy 1. Hopefully, it won't get nerfed, but something will at some point because it doesn't really have a counter atm. It super op right now.

Can you use the Juke combo with Frenzied Tear? As someone who plays on Officials I'd like to get better at surviving either 1-1 encounters or the in event a group comes after me
Honestly, I'm not sure, I haven't tried. I've been meaning to test some different things on a pvp server but haven't got around to it. The raw damage of heavy bite is so damn strong that it's probably best in all scenarios anyway. Just be calculated about when you use it.

Honestly I find it’s the only way I can play with titan. It’s much harder to manage stamina with heavy bite/juke without it. The 10% attack is nice but I feel likes better for 1v1s or even duos. But with so many groups running around. The faster regain stamina is necessary for my survival. Are you using bloodsoaked hide or rugged?
You have to try it. It's game-changing. Before, you had to rely fully on the terrain advantage to fight off smaller, faster tail riders. Now, you can bait them into you in the open. I'd still play near obstacles to make it easier for yourself. I agree 100 per cent that bloodsoaked is the best option. If you have more stam, you can effectively do more damage because you can heavy bite more often. You can escape or chase things down for longer. That and it looks so good lol. The hide, I think I use health regeneration hide. I haven't gotten around to unlocking the dry out slower perk.
@ especially for me as a main solo player, getting jumped by groups def need more stamina to chase, do more damage all that. Ahh okay that’s the one hide I haven’t unlocked. I also haven’t tried the dried out one yet.
I'm a rex main n this hurts to watch that first rex was terrible 🤦♀️ I knew instantly he was with friends, ain't no solo player gunna be that bad at playing an apex 😂 however the second one probs plays solo too he was much better n just got unlucky he was outnumbered ggs to him n his cera 👏 great fights! 💪
The clip when the amarg was chasing you. I main amarg but I find it funny when people try to be agrro with them cause like who are you trying to catch? I also know if you had a bit more health even if you werent full health, you could of easily killed that amarg or have it run away cause titans melt amargs.
I so wanted to try. After the clip, it chased me further up into the hills before I went to the water. I turned around and gave it 1 heavy bite. I could see big scars on the amarg just from 1 heavy bite. I couldn't risk it, tho because there was still the laten. Wish I'd have gone back for it but I wanted to survive and it was risky
I've got a couple of recent ones from a couple of weeks ago. It's the updated version of Pycno, but before they nerfed the tail cooldown. I've been making a Pycno pvp vid on Perma death servers, but I haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. The Titan came out, and it kinda got put on hold for the time being. But yes there will be more Pycno content coming in the future 🙂
Awww, that's rubbish. Try to keep growing it. It will eat raptors for breakfast when it's adult. It can be very disheartening, but keep going, not all players will kill you, some will help.
They're scary fast. If you get on an Allos back, you can get a few bites into them before they can escape. Especially when something tries to swerve and serpentine. It's better off running in a straight line imo, if 1 is chasing you.
Gotta be honest i played on officials with this build and switching fresh blood with the ccovering and heavy bite with the triple bite and even in 1v1s the heavy bite and covered hide just sucks. Even with having the full 100% stam recovery buff the heavy bite makes it all useless by taking redicilus ampounts of stam whilst the triple bite with fresh blood deals about the same damage
Something I have not tested yet is the damage from the triple. I bet it's another viable build to try, but the heavy bite has rediculas damage. So I haven't looked at anything else. You just have to be very calculated about when to use it. Il deffo try a build more like yours at some point. The blood soaked is just so useful for every scenario, apart from a face tank.

I think the titan is a very good apex predator, I mean its clearly better than the T-rex and nobody plays him anymore so they need to buff the rexs health or other things on him.
I think nothing should be able to face tank a Rex, and the Titan comes very close. It's so much better than the other apexs I think they all need a Tlc
@Toast_hub base rex with facetank wins against sharpen eo. Eo only wins if rex has no rumble and it gets a full charge. And rumble rex just eats eo alive. This matchup is very rex favoured.
Well tbh its pretty weak since im a main PT Rex player and i can 1v1 the Titan and win....Since PT Rex has more Armor and Attack :/ which is kinda sad xD but you sure do know how to play Titan :)
Something iv never played or fought, so I have no idea. I'm sure if you only trade heavy bites, you can beat anything, most likely. But not in a straight-up face tank.
@Toast_hub I dont use Heavy Bite with PT Rex since it takes too long to charge and while you charge it People can attack you...I only play with normal bite, Headbutt (for Raptors to headbutt off the Shoulders) Tail attack and Rumble Call to gain more dmg. I can Facetank an Titan and i still would win. The only Dinos i cant facetank as PT Rex is Eo, the New Giga Mod and Anky.

Did u noticed that they nerfed titan badly?. The stamrecovery without blood soaked ist incredible slow. Thats the one point that they told us in the trailer that hes get better than other apexes, his stamina. Now absolute not.
Ohh no, this is recorded with its heavy stam use. Using heavy bite and juke together uses around a quarter of the stam bar. That's the main reason why I think bloodsoaked is so useful. Sorry for the late reply. The festive season is very busy 🙂
All I can do is show the fights with whom I come across. I can't help their skill level. Also, good players can soon crumble and panic, once they get the chomps and they havnt got time to compose. Iv done it plenty of times myself as learning. Forget what I should have done, and regret not doing this or that. Until afterwards you think to yourself, I should have done this ect ect. I get what you're saying and try to leave out fights with players that aren't as good. But still ots officials and you never know what to expect

Unfortuanatly heavy bite is basically not worth using on anyone anymore after its recent damage nerf.

Also very strong against Spoon. Honestly the only Apex I've lost to is Rex and other Titans.

I do go through phases of playing different things, but I think Titan will have my attention for a while yet. Its an absolute machine, and it's the first apex I get excited to play.

It's a gamechanger, for sure. Someone else said you can do it with any bite, not just the heavy 1.
Hopefully, it won't get nerfed, but something will at some point because it doesn't really have a counter atm. It super op right now.

Can you use the Juke combo with Frenzied Tear? As someone who plays on Officials I'd like to get better at surviving either 1-1 encounters or the in event a group comes after me
Honestly, I'm not sure, I haven't tried.
I've been meaning to test some different things on a pvp server but haven't got around to it.
The raw damage of heavy bite is so damn strong that it's probably best in all scenarios anyway. Just be calculated about when you use it.

Honestly I find it’s the only way I can play with titan. It’s much harder to manage stamina with heavy bite/juke without it. The 10% attack is nice but I feel likes better for 1v1s or even duos. But with so many groups running around. The faster regain stamina is necessary for my survival. Are you using bloodsoaked hide or rugged?
You have to try it. It's game-changing. Before, you had to rely fully on the terrain advantage to fight off smaller, faster tail riders.
Now, you can bait them into you in the open. I'd still play near obstacles to make it easier for yourself.
I agree 100 per cent that bloodsoaked is the best option. If you have more stam, you can effectively do more damage because you can heavy bite more often.
You can escape or chase things down for longer. That and it looks so good lol.
The hide, I think I use health regeneration hide. I haven't gotten around to unlocking the dry out slower perk.
@ especially for me as a main solo player, getting jumped by groups def need more stamina to chase, do more damage all that. Ahh okay that’s the one hide I haven’t unlocked. I also haven’t tried the dried out one yet.
I'm a rex main n this hurts to watch that first rex was terrible 🤦♀️ I knew instantly he was with friends, ain't no solo player gunna be that bad at playing an apex 😂 however the second one probs plays solo too he was much better n just got unlucky he was outnumbered ggs to him n his cera 👏 great fights! 💪
The clip when the amarg was chasing you. I main amarg but I find it funny when people try to be agrro with them cause like who are you trying to catch? I also know if you had a bit more health even if you werent full health, you could of easily killed that amarg or have it run away cause titans melt amargs.
I so wanted to try. After the clip, it chased me further up into the hills before I went to the water. I turned around and gave it 1 heavy bite. I could see big scars on the amarg just from 1 heavy bite.
I couldn't risk it, tho because there was still the laten. Wish I'd have gone back for it but I wanted to survive and it was risky
Do you have a Combat guide for Pycno too? I didn't play Path of Titans for years, and now it seems he got new abilities 🙂
I've got a couple of recent ones from a couple of weeks ago. It's the updated version of Pycno, but before they nerfed the tail cooldown.
I've been making a Pycno pvp vid on Perma death servers, but I haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. The Titan came out, and it kinda got put on hold for the time being. But yes there will be more Pycno content coming in the future 🙂

Awww, that's rubbish. Try to keep growing it. It will eat raptors for breakfast when it's adult. It can be very disheartening, but keep going, not all players will kill you, some will help.
No wonder how Titans are so fast
They're scary fast. If you get on an Allos back, you can get a few bites into them before they can escape.
Especially when something tries to swerve and serpentine.
It's better off running in a straight line imo, if 1 is chasing you.

Gotta be honest i played on officials with this build and switching fresh blood with the ccovering and heavy bite with the triple bite and even in 1v1s the heavy bite and covered hide just sucks. Even with having the full 100% stam recovery buff the heavy bite makes it all useless by taking redicilus ampounts of stam whilst the triple bite with fresh blood deals about the same damage
Something I have not tested yet is the damage from the triple.
I bet it's another viable build to try, but the heavy bite has rediculas damage. So I haven't looked at anything else. You just have to be very calculated about when to use it.
Il deffo try a build more like yours at some point.
The blood soaked is just so useful for every scenario, apart from a face tank.
@Toast_hub Thing with the triple bite is that you need to land a normal bite before to deal good damage. I personally just prefer it

I think the titan is a very good apex predator, I mean its clearly better than the T-rex and nobody plays him anymore so they need to buff the rexs health or other things on him.
I think nothing should be able to face tank a Rex, and the Titan comes very close.
It's so much better than the other apexs I think they all need a Tlc

This matchup is very rex favoured.
Fighting a titan is always in your control. You can simply run away. If you die its probably because your ego or you're another slow apex

Well tbh its pretty weak since im a main PT Rex player and i can 1v1 the Titan and win....Since PT Rex has more Armor and Attack :/ which is kinda sad xD but you sure do know how to play Titan :)

I'm sure if you only trade heavy bites, you can beat anything, most likely. But not in a straight-up face tank.
@Toast_hub I dont use Heavy Bite with PT Rex since it takes too long to charge and while you charge it People can attack you...I only play with normal bite, Headbutt (for Raptors to headbutt off the Shoulders) Tail attack and Rumble Call to gain more dmg. I can Facetank an Titan and i still would win. The only Dinos i cant facetank as PT Rex is Eo, the New Giga Mod and Anky.

Did u noticed that they nerfed titan badly?. The stamrecovery without blood soaked ist incredible slow. Thats the one point that they told us in the trailer that hes get better than other apexes, his stamina. Now absolute not.

Ohh no, this is recorded with its heavy stam use. Using heavy bite and juke together uses around a quarter of the stam bar. That's the main reason why I think bloodsoaked is so useful.

Also, good players can soon crumble and panic, once they get the chomps and they havnt got time to compose.
Iv done it plenty of times myself as learning. Forget what I should have done, and regret not doing this or that. Until afterwards you think to yourself, I should have done this ect ect.
I get what you're saying and try to leave out fights with players that aren't as good. But still ots officials and you never know what to expect
