I find this marvellous. Much more fruitful to listen to this voice, this Alice in Wonderland voice, than my own attempt to read off a page. Yes, she is a million miles from Stein, but who is not?
Oh no...this voice is a trillion miles from the soul of Gertrude Stein. l can't bear it. lt's like listening to a pupil being made to read during a long and extremely boring school lesson. Entirely wrong accent increases the annoyance.

Broadcast brought me here. I have to listen at 3/4 speed to come close to keeping up, but in my own way, the bits I get, I love. Great reading too.
