    Hi Jamie nice stuff as usual. IMHO I think that sometime it's easier or more efficient to make a volley on a cannon ball (say Gonzales FH) than to play after the bounce. if you can reach the passing shot and make volley (yes IF !!) all the power is returned to opponent with angles, maybe.

    Doubles game has changed due to slower and better court surfaces. Grass season limited but no bumpy courts - so no need to take everything in the air and carpets are finished. Power rackets and strings have taken away the need to be at net so much.
