in this beginning of winter, came to Evia, the island where I live, for just a couple of days, filming some of my reflexions and we had some fun in the water together.
We spoke generally about the scouting, the way I use all the information I get and how I make my strategy, the importance of evaluating a spot during those days and of organizing a good logistic .
We lived again the 3 moments and different moods of the preparation in Arbatax, and we went into the details of the problems in those days. We talked about the first day and second day of the competition and about my 2 spearguns technique, how I had the idea and for which reason, and some advices to apply it.
Imagine that during these 2 days we have been also so lucky to catch on the same dive 1 dentex and a brown meagre!
From the dream of a child to become a World Champion it took an entire life of training, competing and working on myself.
What I learned in the Master of Palma, in the Euro-African in Mali Losinj or in Zadar and especially what I learned from the World championship of 2016 in Syros.

I wonder what are your nutrition habits before a spearfishing session. I found a lot of technical information about this subject, but nothing practical. For example: to prepare for a dive at 6 am you need to eat at least 2-3 hours before. I guess nobody does this at 3 am. When I don't eat before a dive in the morning I return waisted to may boat. Maybe it is a god topic to include in a future video. Thank you for your work , Daniel ! Grazie , Giacomo !
