Today you get to experience a journey not many people undertake in Tarkov.. how I accidentally became a labs main. Since daily quests were added to the game for some reason Nikita has been giving me a lot of Labs only quests.. which has incentivised me to take the plunge and get acquainted with The Lab. My previous experience with Labs has left me feeling unsatisfied, I played very little of the map and only just about knew how to navigate around it. In this video you see my journey as I progress through the trials and tribulations Labs has to offer, improving my game and eventually (I hope) securing a raid with plenty of combat and lots of loot!
Since the dynamic loot changes to Escape From Tarkov, Labs has had quite a significant buff, LEDX's and Graphics cards (GPU) now spawn more frequently around the map and with additional spawns, in this video you'll see some of those new spawns. Most of these new spawns aren't locked behind expensive doors such as red, violet, black or green.. and so it presents a new opportunity for players to make even more money on Labs.

I feel like I'm just learning that myself. But it's so damn hard changing my mindset on my actions on things to do when I'm in a fight, when I've been so damn frugal with using my ammo and nades in this game. Haha.
I've only played Labs when I have a keycard that I can't sell on the flea market. I would estimate that 50% of the time I die due to not knowing the map and the other 50% is getting outplayed or possible hacks. I say possible because I will admit people play Labs differently then other maps on how they move around. So I'm not sure if it's cheaters or just the Labs Meta.
if you want to learn labs, play it for a few days straight. make sure you have some money to burn, but you'll make way better use of those non FIR keycards in future
Yeah same. I am not good enough of a player to go on labs and burn my money in hope of some ledx or gpus
If you have a labs card just take it in offline! It won't go away when you die so you can go in the map over and over, enable scavs + Scav war for the true experience
Never seen a full video from you before but this is on another level for tarkov videos. In a bland sea of clip montages and stream highlights this is so damn refreshing. The music, the storytelling.. This is gold.

I accidentally became a labs chad too in the last couple of weeks. At first me and my friend were afraid of every sound we heard but then something just clicked and now we are the very thing we were scared of, and chase every pmc we see or hear.

As a Customs/Dorms rat I agree. Personally I never see myself running labs unless I get a nonFIR card but normally I just stuck to running dorms.

Hey lew, as someone who struggles learning how to play tarkov, id be super appreciative of a mouse and keyboard cam when watching these videos. Eye tracking would be incredible too, i dont have too good of eyesight and struggle to see things clearly and i can really never tell what youre shooting at unless the dude is basically right on top of you. Thanks for the great videos though!

I accidently became a labs main too at the end of this wipe. Your journey reminded me of my own and gave me a good laugh. Went from barely knowing the map and dying 80% of the time to winning some 1v3s and killing TTV streamers. Had an amazing time and Im so glad i committed to learning it. GG!

Since wipe is near im also practising myself on pvp. Immersing myself and becoming confident with my movement and avoid freezing when i hear enemy movements.

I highly encourage people to try labs. I've gone there twice now since upgrading therapist to level 3 (I just started the game a month ago) with nothing but access key card, and came out with raider gear one time, and killed a chad with a hexgrid the second time. Need to start investing into key cards but only 1 or 2 are on the market.
