No FUCKIN way! I live in Kannapolis NC and my best friend had been hypin up and talking about this Halal food truck in Charlotte where he lives at, that’s the one! He brought me that exact same plate you eatin on my lunch break on his day off (bless that man, I love him for that) and I ain’t gonna lie, I don’t think I left a single grain of rice, a drip of sauce or a leaf of lettuce in that disposable tray.
I seen this review yesterday and was down in Charlotte for some Doctors appointments. Decided on my way back to Winston I would stop and try it out. I'm so glad you reviewed this spot. The food was great. I had the same chicken and lamb. My Dad had the Philly cheese steak. He only charges $8.99 for the meals and $9.99 if you have two meats. Anyone in the area I suggest you stop by and get you some of his food. Everything is made to order too!!! 😋😋

So, for those that don't know, the word "Halal" basically means "permissible" as in, okay to eat for Muslims. In order for meat to be Halal, it has to be slaughtered a certain way. A very good comparison is Kosher food. For something to be Kosher, the food has to be sourced and prepared using certain guidelines. Nowadays, due to the popularity of The Halal Guys food cart in NYC, Halal food has mostly become synonymous with chicken/beef/lamb over rice, which is delicious don't get me wrong. But you can also have Halal burgers, wings, pizza etc. Great video as always 👍

A-Alcohol (ethyl) and all types of intoxicants/drugs B- Blood - flowing or congealed C- Carnivorous animals D- Dead meat - meat that is not slaughtered according to Islamic slaughtering rites I- Food immolate unto idols S- Swine and all swine derivatives
Looks better than a lot of those rando Halal carts and trucks in NYC (except no tomatoes). Aside from Halal Guys, Pasha’s and Sammy’s Halal and a few in Queens, most are very mid, with apathetic owners who don’t try to put out the best product. The rice is rubbery and lettuce is wilted. Plus, Halal carts are oversaturated in Manhattan. It’s more reasonable in the outer boros.
