I found glowing green mushrooms like in the cover art in the forest once. No I wasn’t high. Amazing to see them. They guided me out of the forest since it was after sunset and I had no torch, so they helped me read the signs out. Hung them in a plastic bag above my tent door and really confused the stoners.

Was this spun on Techniques turntables. I used to be a bedroom Techno DJ. Ride mix all day, that is my technique. Love to spin two records at once and create holy balls new sounds. But, finding dope vinyl is hard. Can't get GOA shit. I never spun a rave but I was pretty damn good. Just gave up because I could not find dope dropping records. And eventually they got all messed up. Christopher Lawrence is pretty dope. And I notice, record shops or techno has declined, so you can sample the records. Not sure why. Seems like people are past vinyl and mix digitally. But it takes away the skill to spin a record, and actually mix. Just take your mixer (I had a RAIN once, highly rare today) and it boomed. But use that slider and boom into a badass mix. I miss it. I guess the only way to do that these days is develop your own bad ass tracks. I tried it, but is really hard. I can make a cool loop, on say the AKIA FORCE synthesizer. But I don't have a real talent to make techno, it is really hard. That is why I like GOA, the underlying beat is dope, but so much detail. But I like hands on techno, using a keyboard and building the sound. Versus just putting nodes in a computer app. Bu to make superior techno, I guess you need to use a computer to compose, and the hands on hardware to make that wicked beat that make people dance!!!!
And there is whole pressing the record itself. I guess some company made it simple now a days.
If anyone knows were I can get GOA records or bad ass techno in general please let me know. I want to get a new set up, the Techniques 2800 and wicked bad ass records. Ride mix the shit out of them. I can ride mix two records for over 10 minutes.
Don't you love that feeling when you have a perfect beat match, and you either hit the side bar slider into the beat or slowly raise it into the beat for your bas ass mix. One of the greatest feeling in the world, especially when you tug those records to keep the beat perfectly matched. It is fucking awesome. Ride that techno and watch the Rave crowd go wild. Never had that experience, but I am sure it is amazing.
