I like how enthusiastic the reaction has been to the trailer for Justice League (2017). From viewing the trailer, the film has been perfectly cast - everybody looks well suited in their respective roles and the interaction and chemistry between them appears genuine. The action looks amazing and was choreographed and filmed the way they should be in such films. It also features beautiful cinematography and amazing costumes and sets. The film appears to have the right dose of comedy without seeming forced or overbearing and services the scenes where it is utilised. Everybody in the cast seems to have enjoyed making the film. Hopefully, the film has taken the best aspects of DC Comics and Marvel and has fused them together to make the film an enjoyable experience. More, importantly, the approach will see the film become a commercial success. But like viewers of the trailer have said, I will go into viewing the film with no expectations and will have forgotten the trailers when it is released in November. I will not compare the film to other DC films or Marvel films as I will judge it solely on its own merits. What has come previously will not matter and won't affect my opinion of the film. Ben Affleck is the best Batman we've had since Michael Keaton donned the cowl and cape in Tim Burton's Batman Returns (1992)! He totally captures the essence and spirit of the character. Affleck is far better and thoroughly more convincing in the role than Christian Bale. Bale's take on Batman was very weak compared to the Bruce Wayne side of the character's dual persona. His Batman was almost at the level of the 1960s camp TV series! At least West's performance in the 60s TV show was intentional. I am not saying Bale is a bad actor, I just believe his strength lies in acting in straight out dramas and not films within the Science Fiction or Comic Book Movie sub genre. His performances in The Fighter (2010) and American Hustle (2013) and The Big Short (2015) were great. Nolan films would have been far superior if Affleck had been the choice to play the Dark Knight. Perhaps, Bale may have felt too conscience of trying to emulate Michael Keaton as it was logical that fans would compare his approach to the role to that of Keaton. As it stands, The Dark Knight (2008) was the best of that particular trilogy due to the standout performance of the late Heath Ledger. There were weak elements to both Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). However, I must say Gary Oldman consistently delivered as James Gordon in the trilogy. Then again, Oldman is one of the finest actors of his generation. So, it will be interesting to see J.K. Simmons' take on the role. I think he will do a good job as he was one of many highlights in Sam Raimi's Spider-man trilogy where he portrayed J. Jonah Jameson. Jeremy Irons is better than Michael Caine as Alfred. That coming from someone who has enjoyed nearly every single performance of Caine throughout his stellar career. His performances in The Ipcress File (1965), Get Carter (1971), The Man who be King (1975), Educating Rita (1983), The Whistle Blower (1986), The Fourth Protocol (1987), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), Miss Congeniality (2000), Cider House Rules (2002) and Harry Brown (2009) should required viewing for lovers of films and aspiring actors. As should his performance as Inspector Frederick Aberline in the 1988 TV mini series Jack the Ripper.
I think we can all agree, that DC has struggled with it's DCU. But putting that aside, I'm surprised there is still people, who think Ben Affleck isn't a good Batman. Everyone has different expectations I guess? But to me, Ben Affleck is very close to the best Batman. I have a hard time putting him over Michael Keaton though. But people want to talk about "trying too hard" to be Batman? I'm sorry, but than honor goes to the cigarette talking Christian Bale. MY SUPERMAN SPOILER THEORY: Batman found out how to bring Superman back, but he couldn't be around to bring him up to speed on whats been going on cuz he had to go to battle with the rest of the Justice League, so he left his regenerating body with Alfred in the Bat Cave. Alfred put Superman's uniform on him while he was regenerating and waiting for him to wake to get him up to speed and so he can go directly into battle to help the Justice League. The pounding was Superman busting out of a machine built by Bruce/Wayne Tech to concentrate yellow sun to help Superman heal faster, becuse he wasn't getting enough of it while being buried underground.
The villain is Steppenwolf. The flying things are Parademons. And there are also Easter eggs for green latern in this trailer. The green light on the glass of water.
There's a rumour that part of the reshoots were to build to Steppenwolf and make it like instead of a soldier he is actually almost a slave and his whole thing is that he is driven by trying to get out from under Darkseid's thumb. If true and done well (which im sure he will be) he could be a really great villain.

I had the same fears that the main villain (Steppenwolf) would be one dimensional but then this trailer makes it clear that he appears all throughout the movie, presumably from the start of act 2 itself. Notice how he's on Themyscira and on Atlantis, he goes there to steal an artifact known as motherbox and based on what they've said it happens pretty early on in the movie, so that makes me believe he's gonna have decent amount of character development and solid motivation. But here's something more interesting, this movie starts with a prologue that takes place 30,000 years in the past and this trailer reveals that Stepenwolf was there in that battle, so maybe they could setup his motivations right in the beginning o the movie and build his character from there.

You need to analyse the movie closer and who knows Green Lantern may appear or has he? If you carefully see beneath the spaceship of Batman, a green flashing device of some kind.
Out of all location, I think wonder woman location will impact the worst. Which gives more emotional reason with the help from Bruce Wayne defeat steppanwolf...can't wait.

Much like in Marvel, THANOS SENT Loki to Earth the retrieve the Tesseract. Here DARKSEID sends Steppenwolf and his parademons to Earth to retrieve the three teleportation devices. Scattered throughout Earth protected by certain groups of people. One in Themyscira, One in Atlantis and the third one not sure yet. But if you heard the villain speak he says. "No protectors here, No Lanterns! No Kryptonians!" Could allude to Green Lantern or Superman. Joss Whedon is certainly brought on board to do extensive reshoots. The movie could turn out a lot different to what were seeing right now.
Steppenwolf was supposed to be Loki of DC. First villain of the league. But he was not cunning like loki, he was very straight forward. Eventually he was compared to thanos and didn't measure up.

Oh Jaby, this movie is certainly going to be more than 2 hours. My guess is 2hrs 45 mins and very possibly getting an extended cut on Blu Ray that will probably near it to 3:30. More than enough time to get everything done!

The bad guy is steppenwolf and he wants to get the three mother boxes on earth. That's why they attack.
Steppenwolf was supposed to be Loki of DC. First villain of the league. But he was not cunning like loki, he was very straight forward. Eventually he was compared to thanos and didn't measure up.
That flying things are Para demons. Minions of dark, side.. Most powerful villain of DC universe.. And SteffenWolf is his right hand.. U didn't get 2 reference.. That green lantern and kryptonian reference.

Oh Jaby, this movie is certainly going to be more than 2 hours. My guess is 2hrs 45 mins and very possibly getting an extended cut on Blu Ray that will probably near it to 3:30. More than enough time to get everything done!

Do your reach, all the insiders are saying that Ben Affleck wants out and WB wants him out, they've scrapped his scripted but all the insiders are saying that WB doesn't want to tarnish the justice league movie but once the movie is out they will announce Ben's departure, he is only contracted to do one stand alone Batman.

Well u said how's it all fitting into that movie well the movie will probably be 2 and a half hours maybe almost 3 hours long , there's no way this will be just 1 hr 50 minutes or just 2 hours on the dot otherwise it'd be all thrown together as a movie but I'm glad it's gonna be a long movie .
