Funny fact, no one knows diablo's true ep. It was stated that he forcibly puts his epic at 6,666,666. That's why greater spirits like ifrit view him as a greater demon and other beings like veldora see the disguise but don't know how much further he goes.
Nah, vol 6 archdemon diablo that first got summoned was capped at 140k like all other arch demons, which was then upped to around the 1-1.5 mil ish mark after becoming a demon peer and then eventually his 6.66 mil stats after getting evolved to a true demon lord.
He only come off so much stronger because he has such ridiculous mastery over what he has to the point its God like, so he can still toy with people that have E.P 10x higher than he does and make it look easy.
It's like magnus playing against 15 people blindfolded and still winning all the matches. His body limits him but his skill is so ridiculous he doesn't even feel restricted.

The completly insane power fantasy and breaking of the own power balance.
That demon lord lvl (like Clayman or Frey was) arent the high tier/high end lvl. But practicly the starting point.
Everyone, who is under S-Rang power in the show, is practicly useless. Even, when B or A-Rang people are rare and have titles as "Champion" and so on. Shizu, who was one of the strongest chara from the lore wise, was only A rang and is practicly outclassed by as good as everyone at the start of the empire arc (if not even before that).
How was the demon lord seed chara of the 10 demon lords able, to hold there position for hundrets of years, when there exist so many people above them (the reason Rimuru evolve all this people is practicly, because the empire has a lot of people of the same level under them).

In power fantasy shows like that, is it bs to increase the imba people even more. Instant, raise the lower people to a higher power, without excalating it.
Tempest is allready unbeatable by the world, before Rimuru raised a own Octagram by himself (everyone in his army is B or A-.Rang level, something, that the rest of the world dont have). It make no sense to strenght them that much. The autor should have included more the powers of the allies. Let Luminus has sended her own vampires and church people (like Hinata) to Tempest, to defend again the empire and the treats of what coming after that.
Let the 7 primordals be included in otgher nations to (like, blanc work with the empire together, violet work with Luminus, yellow with Leon).
The primal demons should be awakening demon lord from the beginning. And, by splitting the powers to various nations, would they have more balance and could be strenghted to, for the angle attack. The few S-rang leaders would taking one the few S-rang leaders of the enemy. And the right hands man A-rang people the same lvl people of the enemy.
But by the way the story is written, is it only a power escalation, that hurt more the story, than help it.
@@hasseo195 the insects were nothing? The demons had trouble with them. Zegion father power level was higher than the true dragons at over 100 million. How were they nothing? And he only got that strong from eating his kids. The other demon lords also got stronger and Hinata. How are you upset because of the show’s progression? The demons all have a potential to grow stronger like Guy. Diablo essentially was able to go toe to toe with much stronger enemies so that proves existence value don’t count.
I agree tempest is unbeatable by their world standard, but now they’re facing a world threat. So yeah they have to meet the challenge. The chaos dragon just woke up in the other realm. And Kumara’s criptic race didn’t even get involved yet. The story can’t stay stagnant.

Finally a good video that actually explains how strong the guardians are on a defensive standpoint most skip over it
this needs an update since volume 21. shion has an ultimate skill now and the strongest by far for now is Zigion (I think that's his name) he has an ep in the 71 0000 now. since he absorbed the insect lord and Apito has also got an ultimate skill. carera is definitely the strongest of the trio ( for now) because of her weapons. waiting on volume 22 for an update on power level since I think everyone is about to get a boost.
Benimaru also got a powerboost as well from what I remember after gaining access to nihility energy. It's also likely the other lords are gonna get power ups. Can't imagine them leaving zegion be alot stronger than diablo for long so he is probably gonna get another power boost
It was said that Benimaru, Diablo and Zegion are the top 3 strongest guardians because they are the only ones capable of borrowing Rimuru's strength/chaos energy, and Diablo being the most efficient in that regard. But Rimuru said that he's not sure who is the strongest among them. So going by that logic, we could roughly say that Diablo is the strongest, followed by Benimaru, then last Zegion. Reason why Benimaru is ranked higher than Zegion is because of his evolution path fully abandoning the physical body while Zegion chose to maintain part of his body (the shell made out of magisteel that Rimuru implanted in him during their first meeting).
So it's like:
Top Tier - Diablo, Benimaru and Zegion
Mid Tier - Shion, Carrera, Testaossa and Ultima
Low Tier - Adalman, Ranga, Kumara, Gabil and Geld
I ranked Adalman higher than Ranga not because of Albert and Venti, but because in the final battle, he fused with Venti regaining a strong physical body. And based on the novel, Adalman was the strongest monk who fights in both melee and magic, strong enough to be a saint candidate which was the reason why the seven luminaries betrayed him and left him to die in a suicide mission with Albert. So he's basically Mashle who uses magic lol

Its insane that half of them aren't in the current ongoing season of anime even after so many episodes, we have yet more powerful characters to encounter
correction, the nulification only works if enemies are near power or weaker then the person with it. but if enemy is like 3x (or more) stronger it'll be able to bypass any nulification you have.

But, Benimaru was never weaker than the demoness trio. He’s been always acknowledged by Rimuru to be in top 3 strongest of his subordinates and that was not uncalled for.
Testa and Ulti doesn’t have any feats to contest Benimaru.
Shion is kinda unstable and difficult to scale.
While Carrera is almost unmatched plus with Judgment, she’s way up there. If not only for her personality…

While Benimaru struggles to fight someone with diffrence of 2x EP value .. Primordials fought and defeated the enemies difference of EP value of more than 10X...Even before Evolving Tesatarossa was able to hold Velgrynd for a while when her and VELGRYND's copy had EP value difference of more than 10x...

Zegion ep is 66 million currently after defeating his father and gaining his abilities. He also has access to null energy. He basically turns his father into a punching bag who had a ep of 100 million.
Diablo without turn null and holding back can on par with zelanus while zegion almost died by single attack from zelanus (before zegion access the turn null). EP is just a number, diablo can also use turn null if he serious to kill zelanus

Her evolution was literally sealed because Ceil fear that the ultimate version of her skill can kill Rimuru and she is the only one under Rimuru has potental to do that. Not even Zegion or Diablo or 3 primal demoneses is sealed this way. She is only able to evolve after Rimuru get kicked out of current timeline hence lifting the seal

P.S also Zegion used Nihility to kill Insect king (Zelanus ) and then Diablo again used Nihility to despair Vega after Vega ate Insect’s king’s remains (which made him more stronger since bastard absorbed insect’s power as well) but Diablo didn’t even tried hard make Vega regret 😂

What i never understand: With skills like: "cancle meele attacks", "Cancle natural elements", how are they than able to hurt each other?
