I feel like playing raze plus fade will be pretty common. Their util seems like it will be really good together. Obviously the one that holds you in place will combo with nade and ult but even just following someones trail in with blastpacks will be strong imo.
Always love watching ur vids. They give a really good insight into meta shifts and strategies from pro teams and I feel they really help my choices in-game.
I agree with your takes on this one except for haven IMO bind and split will be her best maps. The close angles and the fact that raze is essentially a must pick on these maps, which I think fade will have a really good synergy with, makes fade strong on these maps. The no duelist for breeze prediction seems interesting, it's definitely possible but I think neon can potentially be a good pick if the op role goes to a chamber. This is because with mid control, neon can rotate to any site so quickly which makes faking really strong with her. I don't think she'll be too good on haven simply because I feel like the sites are a bit too open, I see skye and kayo being the good initiator picks here. Viper supremacy
True. I tried using Phoenix's mollies as lineups in prep for Fade on Haven, but I can't do anything go for entrying to C. Buildings are too tall, distance of C long means only her ult can be used as entry...
@@winstonong the way i see it is that if you run fade, you will be showing more presence on A and B and you probably can rotate to C later. I imagine fade would be so strong for taking A and B and you can just keep minimal pressure on C (but maybe not being good at attacking C would be a problem because you can't really go rush C). Running both kayo and fade might solve it?
@@dragonarc_gaming valid point but I feel after a while it becomes predictable and your setups mean when fade util is used in specific places there is a higher likelihood to execute there, compared to larger ranges exec abilities like sova and Kay/o. Breach in a class of his own with his stuns and flashes though, ideally I would just run Kay/O breach and sage still on Haven
Love watching your videos, I'm not very good at playing Valo but you make the game super interesting for me. The analysis are so interesting to watch even though it doesn't really give much use to me XD
Hear me out, on breeze you run fade, viper, omen/brim, kay/o, and chamber. With fade, her haunt resonates from the eyes (so this gives it extra height that sovas dart doesnt have) and with this small difference, you could easily land a haunt on the nipple or even on top of hall. These (and many other spots. For example,on top of elbow or arch on b) will give you a lot of info (i know the b ones are strecthing it), but with that said sova is still probably a better pick. Plus, if you get stopped on one site from executing (oping chamber, kayo ult, etc.) you can rotate to b and still have smokes with omen.
Your vids are super insightful, so good to watch a time like this with a new agent AND nerfs to the top ones. I like that she's sort of taking over Sova's role on some maps, obviously he'll still be king on Breeze and Icebox like you said, and on other maps were maybe Sova shouldn't be played, Fade will look really strong there instead
Man, watching this video about a character that I haven't played yet is like reading the textbook chapter before class. Why am I like this, it's just a game?
Me watching a video of TMV (I don't know your name) whose watching a video of me. IMO, she's made for Bind. Her prowler/util into Hookah is wayyy to strong.
im a relatively new player and yesterday i was playing a match as cypher on acsent, it was a difficult game but i managed to solo 2 rounds because you showed areas the traditional kj ult doesnt cover so just wanna say thanks for that.
For Breeze comps I think Yoru is good when players and teams experiment more like PRX does. With the new change to Yoru ult he can get MASSIVE information with his ultimate before entering. Then you just combo utility so he can kill, there are barely any places to hide in these open maps.
Just want to say that I love the vids from the analysis and the frequent uploads, I'll probably watch this if there's a long downtime for the patch later, if not I'll watch this while upgrading my sweet rgx skins.
Fade+raze on bind and split is crazy. Raze nade with fade is op. Only agents that can teleport can escape. Not even jett. OP astra pull. I saw average Jonas did a combo
well the lineup thing for sova, i had a lot of lineups for sova using the left side healthbar hotline (got em from jonas ofc) which I can’t use anymore coz the way he holds his bow is changed now 😢
i know you're mostly looking at pro play, but i am interested in how fade will work in low elo. we know low elo players don't shoot sova darts; imagine throwing her signature into somewhere where there is a lot of enemy traffic-- it's going to be busted. and with that in mind, i think that at low elo especially, fade could be really busted on a map like breeze where there is so much open space. the util works via line-of-sight. throwing it, say, on top of the pyramids or something has the potential to get you SO much information about defenders and their positioning because there's so few places for them to actually hide.
The signature ability had a range of footstep sound (probably same range of sova dart?) so it is quite big. The problem is how are you going to toss it far enough to reach the enemy? It works like phoenix molly so the throw range is not that far
Seems quite weird as a change, especially as it would be confusing for new players why Phoenix's wall does damage but Neon's doesn't... Maybe a slight hint at Phoenix rework??? (COPIUM)
I still think that Breach/Skye/Kayo are the best combos for haven, flashes are so strong, Kay/o's knife is really effective on defense since the map has such fast offensive rotates, breach utility is great for pushing every site and Skye's dog is great for pushing Garage/A. I reckon Fade will be played most on Bind and Split, the maps where Raze and even Astra are Queen. Her defense will be insane with all of the chokes and her prowlers will solo win games if used right on those maps.
People still don't understand that sova will be forever a mus pick on his best maps due to his unmatched info seeking on those maps. I believe that Sova will truly go out of meta, similarly to Jett because of their sheer versatility on certain maps
Do you think Ascent should be changed? Since the agent meta for that map has been the same for so long? Is it better to have a map with an undecided meta or one's that consistent?
We’ll see if the jett and sova changes make a difference but I’ve always disliked ascent cause it’s so dull anyway so I wouldn’t be against changes but I know it’s probably the most popular map so I doubt we’ll see changes
@@ThinkingMansValorant thanks! I was looking for it since I saw it on another video like a month ago, but I couldn’t find it, you just helped me a lot! Great content btw, keep it up!
sova nerf will make people pick skye + kay/o , fade will be picked by some crazy team like liquid or optic initially, after then only other teams will pick it up
What rank is Thinking Man's Valorant? What rank are the players who watch him? I feel like he talks about the game in a depth that not a lot of other people are doing right now.
Not an expert here by any means. But her absorb ability seems like it could be useful as a stall/anchor defense ability. Preventing a push on certain maps could prove to be more useful than Sova... 🤷
After playing against fade a lot and being a Sova main i cannot see why you would pick fade right now, her prowlers dont move very well on their own and in Bind a good default will win attack most of the time, but in dont see a good way to get long or baths with fade, cause you are gonna use raze for hookah and viper on short
I really like your content and I love so much but I think your thumbnails are the inly thing that is holding you back if you can work on those at least for me you will be a very good content creator and I don't think you need to improve anything else

@@kodachifps yes, your can do crazy plays with punishment if you can't hear. That's right.

I was also thinking that any map where raze is good, fade would be good in it as well just simply because they combo very well
