I'm not sure what year Accord this is, but the engine looks the same as 10th gen civic (k20c2 engine). That said, the 10th gen civic's wiring is so much more forgiving - the alternator is not this much trouble.
I’m injured been kinda off work these are pre recorded videos but definitely rest. Going broke look like no hope for shop I might sell stuff just posted video on this got shop equipment for sale if ur intrested in anything let me know ruclips.net/video/wyK4NLDma9Y/видео.htmlsi=u3-7aQMeSrsvkEBh
@@RBTheMechanic Gotcha. Thanks for the quick response. Amateur myself, swapping out the valve cover on my wife's 2016 Civic tomorrow. She can just yell at me if the car forgets something 😂 Thanks for the vid.
Thanks. Double checked everything, reconnected all hoses and cables, but I’m now getting CEL and just warnings on every system (brake, steering, etc). Just that thing it does when there’s a general engine issue and goes into limp mode I guess. Can’t seem to figure out what the issue is, unless valves are not sitting properly, or some issue with the seals there.

@@33ad1 well if I get the car back then I can need to recheck
I got a civic 2015 long term fuel trim -12 why?
Check vaccum leak or clean or maf sensor check ur filter as welll to see if it’s blocked
Maybe a dumb question but... why do you keep talking about being careful with the alternator? Why not just... unplug the battery?
Memory loss some cars have radio code customer don’t have their code then they blame the shop
