This podcast has been a huge blessing to me! I had the opportunity to purchase and independent insurance agency and I took a step of faith after 5 years of working really hard to obtain an opportunity like this. How you guys break down the concept of scripture especially around money which isn’t popular is a huge blessing. I can tell this is genuine and that you really care. God bless and thank you for this content!
Yes, more content like this! Not many people, if any, are talking about all of these things in the way that you are. The things that you discuss, particularly regarding the character around wealth, are both mind-blowing and logically simple. The world, especially Christians, need more content like this to engage with.
You mentioned the emotion code book in a previous pod cast, i love that book and God guided me to apply it to other things than just the body including debt and physical items. I was also told debt is often accumulated bc we choose to not process our emotions so we buy things attach those emotions to them and to the debt so we can work through those emotions later but usually we dont and it compounds causing bankruptcy. When that happens it gets spread among ur family line. When i sat down and did my cards and even the corresponding banks it was astonishing. If u practice the emotion code please try it. Now i use it not just for myself but ill do world problems too.its amazing. Your podcast is amazing. When i first listened i had to stop bc it was so high frequency. Thank you all again!❤
This is brilliant. Love it actually. Thank you Taylor, thank you Jake. That Greek story was "The Odyssey". Odysseus instructs his sailors to plug their ears with beeswax , given to him by Circe, to prevent their hearing the Siren song. Odysseus himself straps his body to the mast of the ship in an effort to be able to listen to the song of the Sirens without steering the ship toward danger.
Love that you are doing these, and I agree more please 😃 Jesus also said "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." Wealth today looks very different than the times of the Bible, we live in a monetary world where dollars and cents stand at the heart of the economy. The ancient world was more bartering and trade. If we are looking for the common denominator of those prosperous in the Bible, it's less about working hard and putting in the hours, and more about God blessing those who were OBEDIENT. Those who walked in the Spirit. The "hard work" was (and still is) giving up the ways of the flesh, picking up your cross, and setting yourself apart. I find that wealth these days is mostly taught from an earthly perspective that stems from selfish ambition which is a sin. Phil. 2:3 3 "Do nothing from SELFISH AMBITION or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves." Among many others, (ie Galatians 5:19-21 (NIV) "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, SELFISH AMBITION), dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God." Even as a believer, when we give glory to God because of our success.... if any pride, arrogance, or selfishness lives in our heart, God sees that and despises it. Proverbs 28:11 "The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are." The main reason that people are poor is because they are captives ...meaning controlled by the enemy. (Some are also "prisoners" because of personal sin.) But either way, they are both "slaves" and we've gotta speak to the evil spirits BEHIND their behavior. We live in a fallen world and Jesus himself said he came to set the captives free. (Luke 4:18-19) The way I see it now is that we're meant to have a ministry side of our business to share the Truth of the Gospel to the "slaves" that we are here to help (ie, our "niche"). If we tell people to shift their mindset and work hard that doesn't serve them. The don't have the spiritual eyes to see what they are enslaved by. We must give them the tools to slay the enemy in this way. (Which is why I've spent the entire last year preparing these types of materials with the Holy Spirit! 🙏) Our soul consists of our mind, emotions, and will. Satan is after all three of those, and we conquer him with our spirit which is in Christ. Eager for your next episode.
Wow - incredible! Thank you for typing this out. I agree with you - I think this is designed to be a constant act of surrender and "remembering" (as Deut 8:18 says) that GOD is who gives the ability to build wealth (not us). We have a job to do, but the source is not us.
Yes, surrender and yield to the Spirit! Yet most of us are not doing that at all lol, especially in business. You can build wealth that is NOT of God (following your own way and will, not His). The enemy knows very well how to manipulate the system, and many people are sitting on poisoned seeds (and then giving glory to God).) We're missing the mark. If we want to be a Spirit-led CEO we cannot do things our own way or make our own plans. We must do things OF, WITH, and FOR God. Most of us it's been one, perhaps two of those...because it's totally backwards from what we are taught in business. @@TaylorAWelch

It sounds good on paper, but the problem is the unintended secondary consequences it would cause. They'd be giving even more money to the most wasteful, corrupt, frivolous spending entity in the history of the world (US .gov) who would definitely not spend it in a way that actually does any good for humanity. Plus, churches would be incentivized to become even more commercial than what we see in current mega church culture. I understand his point and agree with the premise, but the trouble is that any time the government gets involved, especially with taxes, it causes a cascade of unintended negative consequences.

Temples places of worship open to everyone seven days a week often times even 24 hours a day should be tax exempt. However, personal ministries places where membership is required and access is restricted to one or two days a week and specific times and or specific functions personal ministries or even ministerial franchises that operate in these ways should pay taxes. Everywhere, the brand of the place is pattern after a man or a man made organization should all pay taxes. Jesus had personal ministry and he paid taxes.

I am a Bible believing follower of Jesus Christ. One thing I can tell you for sure is that our job as believers is absolutely NOT to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth. That is what Jesus will do. I’d like to hear from Taylor’s mouth whether he is part of the NAR movement or not. If he is, then do not listen to him because he’s a blasphemer.
@TaylorAWelch. just a word to the wise and a warning that if you take on the responsibility of making commentary and teaching scripture from the Bible, then you need to do your due diligence and dig even deeper into your studies. You have to be above reproach when you are influencing a whole lot of people that are not educated in biblical scripture and will believe every word that comes out of your mouth, so make sure that you’re teaching is accurate. You should also study biblical prophecy, which makes up at least 1/3 of the Bible. It’s very important because we are in the latter days. Jesus is coming back soon, Hallelujah!❤️
I have grown up being so upset that I have had to find my own way and wasn’t really led or guided and for the longest time I trusted in myself beyond anything else, the controller, to the extent of wanting to control others and when things went south I would then be the I told you so person 🫣
I have just gone through the most harshest season of my life where God has taught me, in more ways than one, that He is God, Alpha and Omega. And only through obedience in all forms, monetary, trust, faith and dependence on Him was I able to get through a very hard season. I said all that 😂 to say this, we are guided by what we choose to see life through and as a believer coming across such discussions, it is so enriching and edifying in more ways than just sharing about biblical principles and getting knowledge. These are seeds you are planting! May God increase and bless you! This was so refreshing too because it wasn’t the typical church, cell group, behave like a Christian kind of context. It was soo real life like for me. Like sitting with a mentor and just discussing and talking about life principles. Thank you for sharing your world with us 🤍

It's just that you make me so mad🙂↕️ that's how conviction works! Holy Spirit has been talking to me for a long time about this, and your conversations help unravel the tiny peg holding me back from the greater revelation! Iron sharpens iron, that's what i look forward to. Now, wejust have to master how Jesus multiplied the loves and fishes🤔
Usary is only allowed to foreigners in the Bible.
Start at the beginning, or else you’ll never reach the end.
It’s the oddysy

Or: how did you chance from prioritizing something else over God to God first?
I am a Bible believing follower of Jesus Christ. One thing I can tell you for sure is that our job as believers is absolutely NOT to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth. That is what Jesus will do.
I’d like to hear from Taylor’s mouth whether he is part of the NAR movement or not. If he is, then do not listen to him because he’s a blasphemer.
I don’t even know what the NAR movement is. Listen or don’t listen my job isn’t to convince you of anything lol
Talk about it more

Our church pays taxes in south africa
The Income Tax Act of 1962 exempts churches and schools from paying income tax. Not sure what tax you are referring to.
You sound like a systems kid.
