The new Ridgid is super nice and their 3rd generation Compact Press Tool so very refined. Add the Ridgid software we’d agree this is an outstanding value. Obviously platform battery systems come into play to go with rest of your tools which Ridgid lacks compared to the red and yellow options. Positive and negatives for each, hopefully this helps showcase a few things that’ll help some make a better decision!

Funny how dewalt for example is the same price or sometimes more than ridgid. When they basically just copied ridgid and came into the game late and it is their very first tool for press. Greed is really something

You said the Ridgid has no scheduled maintenance then said needs maintenance at 60k cycles

The tool's brushless motor is designed to endure approximately 60,000 press cycles, which is likely its expected lifespan. However, reaching this threshold may require repairs, as even a robust motor like this could show signs of wear after such extensive use. Sorry for the confusion!
