It seems like Norse is gonna need some buffs to favor generation and their god powers. Greek just seems op because you can put as many citizens you want on favor and re use your powers that are really op. Curious to see what they do with Atlantean and Chinese.

15:00 The reason his Manticores are cheaper is because one of the relics he picked up early is the Bow of Artemis, which makes all ranged units cheaper.
Lighting storm instantly cancels Nidhog + deletes norse army. This needs balance. Teleporting GP's like UW or shifting sands also needs balancing as Norse mythic army is too slow (Fire giants, Balistas repositioning is nearly imposible). Imposible to defend.
Really makes it boring to watch Zeus vs everything. Norse trying out everything but Zeus just shuts it down with ease. Hopefully they balance it out before release

The fact that the Greeks can win favor more quickly by using villagers is imbalanced. I've seen Greek used its mythic age God Power more than once in many casted videos but I've never seen any Norse or Egypt players done that. Has anyone seen second Son of Osiris or Nidghogd? I think they should buff Norse and Egypt favor mechanism or debuff Greek.

One of the few games where I see last age. However for the Greeks I see the same problem: nobody builds their unique unit :(. Something is fishy with the greeks. I see them winning and losing generally before Age IV. When I see them on Age IV I don't see the unique unit. I haven't seen any of them.
Well, it's an unfortunate side effect of being really good at the game. their unique units have a higher pop and resource cost (unless they changed this in the remake). and while strong, it's generally not worth the extra population slot. If you are microing well, you don't have a good use for them. Pretty good for lower level play though. It'd be fun if they could be reworked into something that actually sees use, but I guess Greek is already strong enough as it is
yeah balance need to be improved i hope they dont do the same mistake as in aoe4 - they wated ages for balance and fixes and thats why a large playerbase tunred away from the game

Except then they aren’t gathering resources for units so you should be able to kill them if they do that.

Fyi, norse heroes passively generate favor even when not fighting, and killing hunt animals also gens favor.

@EmilioDOvidio4 myrmidon don't do bonus damage to non-greek units anymore. Instead they counter units with high armor.
