      @@willolol3353 I don't mean that offensively, it's just true.
      Don't look directly at the camera unless you're far enough away to wear your jaw line makes sense. You're so close the shadows make your face flat

      @willolol3353 I looked at your other videos. You have a pretty normal jaw but this profile picture makes you look like the Beta male meme. just don't look directly at the camera so we can see your jaw or have light on to your face. So it doesn't make your face flat.

    Now this was such of a useful video Gabriel, thank you so much for making these tips on head movement, the most, where I found to correct my technique, was with slipping shots, and I will be sure, to practice rolling with shots too, to implement them, into my arsenal!

    This is a bit awkward to ask, but it happens to me in sparring that I use the Dutch guard, and I always get hit in the belly, I have a big belly so it is an easy target, what can I do to defend myself from body blows? considering that I have this problem, it is awkward the transition to lose weight and in the meantime not adapt to these things because my arms do not cover the total of my belly, I hope I have explained well

    • @ehellsword2
      @ehellsword2 7 месяцев назад

      Body conditioning. Get hit in your stomach more to build tolerance. Or be fast on your feet. Most people get hit in the stomach since it's the easiest target. They just try to roll with the punches.
      Try exhaling when you get punched. That will help lessen the impact. No matter the size of the person they'll probably get hit in the stomach the most.

    Hey coach what do you think of elbow lifts/blocks for MMA? Im talking about a philly shell/cross guard wing block. High level fighters like Sean Strickland, Dustin Poirer and ive even seen Alex Pereira use them. Arent you worried about smaller MMA gloves punching the back of the ear? This is exactly how Dustin got KOd by Connor in their first fight, and Bas Rutten has also talked about this

    I heard rolling is a no no in muay thai it's dangerous for kicks

  • @doromizu.

    Hi newbie here, If I roll after every combo, would I really be able to avoid my opponent when they end their combo with a kick?

    • @kool2skipper17
      @kool2skipper17 10 месяцев назад

      It can catch you alot, When beginning, keep your hands up. Also, if you keep your roll sharp and short instead of a super exaderated "u" shape, you will have more room to pull or slip or reset to avoid that kick. And keep your eyes on the opponent the whole time don't just duck
