The windows were originally a very dark smoked gray. The Mantis was at an exotic dealership in Beverly Hills on Wilshire between Cannon and Crescent drive. I lived a couple blocks from there on Elm and would and would stop by to check it out probably twice a week. I am still as electrified as when I was 10 years old. When I would enter I would announce my presence by saying “I won’t touch it!”. The people that worked there were so nice and would just smile and wave. Thanks guys, I remember you with heart
The XP reminds me of a low-res GT40 lol. But the previous designs were really neat, smooth long hood cars and flat wedges with pop-up headlights always work.
@@lenslr That and Cor Euser, absolute legend he is, raced the Mantara LM600 well into the 2010s, till he totaled it at Zolder in 2012. There's a few Mantara's running around in the Dutch Supercar Challenge still. I believe Euser also repaired the LM600 and runs it in Masters Legends now, while using a MARC Car to win titles.

"the plywood gt40" was nearly the title text but I thought it might be a bit misleading. Ah well

Marcos was and always will be the plucky underdogs loved by the Dutch for some reason.
It's the quality of the drugs, methinks
