I love the tension between you and your frequent guests. Pierre, and especially Zach too, give a lot of pushback on the pod. At first I thought it detracted from the show a tiny bit, but I've grown to love the realness of the guest sitting in the chair, like "really Matt? This informal? you're gonna do it like that?"
And you're just like, "Yea, I'm going to do it like that *chuckles*"
And I feel like thats really something, because a lot of interview shows like this would just straight cut it for efficiency reasons, or even to save face -- but I think its usually done to air on the side of putting out a concise show.
But here it feels like, really human and natural, to leave that discourse just as it is.

I think the movie that you're were referencing was Sicario and if I'm not mistaken there were 2 sequels after the original one from 2015. I saw the first two which were very well done IMO but I haven't seen the last one yet.

This is really great to hear the cartel story from a man that was on the dark side.. as a ex career criminal I find that hearing the story from.the law enforcement side is just a one sided insight and it's fuckin boring hearing from cops and ex fbi guys or even journalists they don't have a fuckin clue about what the inside scoop is.

What did this gentleman do time for, where? and how long?
He did time for a methamphetamine manufacturing, conspiracy and conspiracy to murder to federal informants. Both were murdered, but all Pierre did was move the bodies. 🤷🏼♂️ He did over 25 years.
I truly don't understand why these higher ranking individuals don't buy armor plated vehicles they can get them from Mercedes for a $100,000 or so that's nothing compared to what they make and it's a well needed investment considering it's your life at stake

Man Chapo’s son was killed by his own faction his guys mistakenly took his life.
