recently discoverd this stuff , amazing , unlike just about anyone ive met in my travels , including myself ... inspiring , , mostly because i know i myself am not half as good now as i would be had i been more consistant , or felt there was more of a community aboutthis so to speak .. on the positive note , decided to go retro due to budget and am rocking the classic poor mans pv"tree" dij .. first learned of one at 16 yrs old and at 19 picked it up as a musical instrument .. no guitar duche here lol .. 20 years have passed and i am once again walking the streets of my home town with a "big stick" "honking" at traffic as they nearly hit me :) some things never change , thanks for the inspirATION TO PLAY AGAIN ... ALMOST HAD FORGOTTEN THE UPHORIC FEELING AND MEDITATIVE STATE IT COULD BRING .. kEEP PLAYIN .. CAUSE IM NOT GOING TO STOP AGAIN :) THANKS YALL
got to say im a little disappointed in this one, where as ive enjoyed the past ones! too many fart noises and spit and kiss sounds for me. the drones and natural sounds and vocals are missing. there are no roots or meaning. i get that didge has moved on from traditional and old school didge...yes i do...but wheres it going? nobody is dancing because there is lack of rhythm....they all sound the same....no contrast...just grey areas most of the way through! its my personal opinion only!!.....dont bother bagging me out for having my say, but i do think these guys are very talented, no doubt. i follow a lot of these guys....but its just sad to see where this music is heading with our sacred instrument!
