Certainly don’t want Older Son and Father fighting for head of Troop. I actually thought that Son and Father live together peacefully until father Passed. But I know the Zoo’s have breeding programs for them when of age. . I Know Both Brothers will be wonderful father’s one day. I think so many of us are so attached to this family that it’s gonna be difficult when or if these brothers may have to leave. Just hope we all can watch them anywhere they go.
At first I was laughing so much at Kintaro caught in the net! Then I realized I was looking at how poachers caught them in the wild. Sobering, sad thought.

I never thought Gentaro's legs were undersized, besides, they will thicken up when he starts turning into a silverback. Genki is the one with chicken legs, and duck feet to boot.

Kintaro becomes more and more rebellious and fights with everyone in the family. Even his big brother has trouble calming him down. He's 4 years old now, how will this continue, especially when Gentaro leaves the family? 🤔 I like Kinny, he's my little ninja, but it's getting to be too much, he's so hyper. Sometimes I'm a little worried when it's hanging high and rocking wildly. 😔
I think KIntaro is one of a kind and actually goes to each family member and plays individually with them. He's the only one that does that and I like his spirit.

I,think the Zoo knows that it would be devasting for Kintaro right now, the send Gentaro away. He needs an active playmate, especially during these young formative years. And, as long as Gentaro is not challenging Big Momo, they are still living all together peaceably. No need to remove Gentaro yet.
@ladyelliott6245 Kyoto Zoo is working on placing Gentaro with a female. I would always want the best for Gentaro, that's for him to have his own family. Kintaro will be fine! Who knows..he may have a sibling on the way.

I notice KT adapts super good to any situation, when GT or Big Momo does not want to be bothered, he entertains himself! I think KT will adjust fine without GT or even big Momo! Now I’m not sure he would be ok without Genki momma! 😊😊❤❤

@@bettythompson7177 I think he needs a bit more time to mature. He’s a big boy but it’s not until recently that he’s acted more mature. The last time someone asked the zoo they said they didn’t have any plans to move him yet.

@@sunflowers8508 yeah, kintaro is starting young!! Genki pushed Gentaro out too!! Annie pushed her 👵 around. I think she is only 8 or9. Sometimes it looks like they want them to play with them. Entertainment or passing time after they make their rounds around their enclosure. They want to play all the time,,of course they love to eat and sleep!!!! In the wild those puppies leave the adult gorilla 🦍 (mama) and play and run then returns to the group. Very active animals. Wish I had their energy!!!!! No offense to your comment.
