@greggblack8205 In this game you are a worker who lay pheromons. So the other ants in a legion are coordinated. This is how it works in real life as well but those ants who control other ants usually die in a fight. Unless if she is careful.

I'm pretty sure you've got some duff information about male ants not having a digestive system. They do have one or they wouldn't live. But once they're out the nest and had their nuptial flight, they'll just stop eating. Most don't die from starvation. Predation will get most of them.
I think this game being the game to come out with PS5 pro is because of Concord and this was probably like a little 'oh by the way we also have a cool little game we'll throw in for you' when you buy the big expensive pack bundle but yeah... concord...
I've read and seen a lot of confusion as to what this game is before going in. I personally got Pikmin vibes from what I saw and read in the description of it. Not a heavy battle rts game.

i have a small ant colony had them about 2 months so have about 30 of them.
Keep on going! I have my colony for 4 years and now have 10k workers, it takes patience but as they grow they become more and more amazing to watch!
