I watch in awe! Your precision doesn't even register in my mind. How you cut all these parts and they fit so precisely is an absolute credit to you. I know I would make mistake after mistake, which way up to cut ,which piece goes where. Amazing work 👍
I'm a professional furniture maker and there was some properly intimidating joinery in this video! Excellent stuff dude, this is one to be very proud of.
Thanks bud, yeah, its a exhibition piece for sure. Will be overlooked by many and could be replicated by cheating alot of the detail. Its nice to do it properly
Sheer perfection, just like the first time I watched it, just a tip Ollie, ditch all the safety gear, abuse your donated tools, don’t listen to any advice from people in the know, oh yes, mention Chateau, Renovation, France in your description, and you will have half a million worldwide subscribers fawning all over your work in no time at all😅
Haha yeah, its frustrating seeing what gets views, ill keep chugging along, obviously more income from it will inevitably allow better videos as more time can be spent on them. Not sure on the best route forward, but its not bad
Can I just say, I am in absolute awe of your workman ship!. As a locksmith I would be petrified of touching that door as I know I would make a balls up somewhere and damage it because it would probably be the nicest door I've ever seen so sods law would dictate I damage it 😂
great to see the compilation after watching all of the individual ones. Thank you for taking the time to do it. Great entrance.
It was a lot of effort to string this video together so thanks!
You are one very, very skilled man 👌👌
Thanks Robert! Appreciate it.
You are getting quicker at this - the second door only took you 42 minutes!
That's not a door! It's High Art. Thoroughly enjoyed the series and this compilation, a real journey. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the awesome work. 👍✌
Thankyou bud, means alot!
After watching the full length videos, this 'recap' leaves me feeling just the same. That you have crafted a wonderful piece of work that can rightly be called perfection.
Thankyou Bud, really appreciate it
You're very lucky to have clients willing to pay for this level of finish. Great job.
My thoughts exactly. I hope he charged them what this was worth.
Thanks Steve, Yes its good to have the clients, but they got a decent bargain(relatively) also!
I’d say there lucky to have him to be honest.. absolutely perfection!
Stunning work pal
Very impressive work, it is a real joy to see such quality
Thanks, appreciate it
3:35 SPOT ON! Scribe of the year right there!
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Nice to see this come together in one vid great editing, although I did enjoy the entire series.
9:25 very impressed with that attention to detail. Very few people would think to silicone-seal joints like that instead of just epoxying it together.
Thankyou!!
Fine piece of work there.
This was amazing to watch Ollie. Both Angus and I really enjoyed the individual episodes and the summary one we’ve just watched. Mega job!!!!
I'm on repeat: The European Ishitani - you two should meet
His craftmanship is like your: out of this world
Thanks Mate, i will check out Ishitani. Ive not come across the channel before! :)
Always inspiring, thanks
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you again - the door is magnificent
Thanks Chris, appreciate it!
This doorpiece is a marvellous masterpiece from a master artisan craftsman.
Amazing Job!!!!
Fantastic video as always Ollie! I enjoyed watching this project as it unfolded on RUclips, but to see a shortened down version is great. Would be good to see something similar with your Green Oak framing videos too. Would also be good to see how you finished it off with your choice of protection. All the very best!👍
Outstanding work
A joy to watch.
Thankyou Mike
Amazing how so many eyes from such a diverse audience are able to see the same beauty, precision and masterful craftsmanship. Builders do share a very unique passion for aesthetically pleasing results. Cheers!
How I wish you´d have done my home windows.Watching your standards, the person who made it was a tyro with 30 years of experience.
You should be proud 👍
Picked up a new favorite tip from one of your early videos in this series- the chamfered and sealant filled joints are brilliant. Couldn’t find the same sealant here but I’ve made do with a different product and it’s been working well. Previously if I didn’t want to have a hairline crack show in the paint I’d chamfer the joint to hide it in the shadow- but never thought to fill the chamfer. 🍻
Hey mate, thankyou, Ahh yes the V-groove sealant is the tech name. Try exterior joinery coating manufacturers/ paint suppliers near you. im pretty sure sikkens/akzonobel are worldwide.
Stunning ! Amazing craftsmanship....as usual.
Thanks!!
Sheer class 🙌👏😊
Thanks Jim
Fine fine work, congratulations
Thank you very much!
Nicely done
Thankyou!!
Your skills are amazing, thank you for relaxing a nurse with your second to none talent. I loved this 😁✌️
Thankyou, thats really great to hear.
I'd have left that beautiful mahogany wood exposed, just would have varnished it
After watching all the videos from this project, I really enjoyed this condensed version.
Cheers, it was alot of work (and files) to bring this together out of so much footage
@@BradshawJoinery I can only imagine the effort.
Full version is of course much better, because it shows every detail and most of the struggle you've put into making the door.
But this one may be a good entry video for new viewers. You could even try and make a short to promote this footage.
Good work as always even on a repeat😅
Thanks mate
Not bad for a first timer , no really a masterpiece
Haha, i feel about ready to retire now
Very fine job as usual
Thankyou!
Hi buddy, must be a sado as I watched this again and loved it even more ! Great to see more content coming online … cheers Simmo
Haha Cheers Ben, i think the whole project video is necessary, to see how each of the blog episodes tie together.
There is no finer joinery out there.
Hi Ken. Flattered by your comment mate, I absolutely try to achieve the best result I can at all times so thankyou.
Amazing work. What brand are your telescopic poles? They look to be spring loaded.
Cheers James, they are amzn.to/4aZPoZD great bits of kit for dust barriers and ive found useful for many things...
When people ask ‘Define Art?’, and you get those who state that it’s only a painting etc that can be called art… I’d say watch this.
love this!
What spray gun/ system do you use?
Its a 30:1 graco wth wagner gm4700ac gun. reccomend, the gun, dont buy anything else
Were those Tempered marks on the glass? We have that law here in Canada too for commerical buildings but I always asked my glass guy to leave them off on my residential jobs, not sure if thats allowed out there. A company I used to work for we made a built in closet with glass fronts and he forgot to ask for the tempered mark not to be put on and every piece of glass had the mark, it looked horrible.
Yeah, they are, you need them for building regs. You can get discreet ones that are really almost invisible..., but the customer ordered this one and i don't think they had the option too...
@@BradshawJoinery Well at least the glass pieces are large and the marks looked to be located in the same areas. Great work, you guys have way better schooling then we do, much more skilled than we in Canada or the US.
What is the reason to use Sapele then going to paint? No critic, just cureuse. 👏🙏🇸🇪
Its a good hardwood if going for a painted finish. Custome wanted hardwood over Accoya so thats what we went with. I only agreed as its well under cover and will last in that location
One Word ,Precision! How many hours from Start to Finish?
OOph, i wouldnt like to count, probably 2-3 months work in the porch and door setup
@@BradshawJoinery You must be well proud of the finished job and Clients lining you up for something else 😂
did... did you paint Sapele green? 😭
Yes, its a good hardwood for painting! I genuinely prefer a high quality paint finish to stained/varnished wood.in most cases
