I like this cover much better than the original, I think the music fits the lyrics much better, but I still love the original by Ramones as well. Both rock in different ways in my opinion.
I mean, there's making it you're own and going against everything the original was, listen to a live version of the Ramones doing this and it's about 37 times faster than this. It's a punk rock song, it's supposed to be fast. Now if Manson ONLY did slower songs I'd get it a bit more but I'd love to hear Manson do a faster, angrier more manic version of this like some of his other stuff.

I am a MM fan. This is the worst cover ever. It is always good if you try to do another version of something, but doing this with the Ramones was not a good idea. It's not that bad as a song on itself, but it is a terrible cover.
And I thought Rob Zombie's Blitzkrieg Bop cover was weird. I have to say it, Manson's cover is just lame, his gothic metal approach to this song just doesn't work (for me at least).
