Thank you- I super appreciate that. I am trying to pump out about 3 more reviews in the next week. I just started college classes again and am really trying to keep posting on a weekly basis
Got myself a pair 2 weeks ago. Wide foot went up half a size. Once I broke them in they didn’t hurt at all and I wear elite socks to stop the heel minimal heel slippage, the couple times I worn regular Nike socks I felt it a bit but nothing making me feel unsafe. Use to playing in Kobe’s and have been enjoying so far!
Great review, I am wide footer true size 9 4E. I went up half to 9.5 and KD fits just perfect. It was snug but no heal slippage. At first I had foot pain but once broken in the KD 15 is by far my favorite of 2022.
Thank you for commenting man! That makes me want to try a half a size up. It is really hard as a reviewer with wide feet. It’s usually not until after I break in the shoe that I realize I need to try another size. I wish I was still in the return window, I recently got the new Paul George’s and they were actually way too big at a 10.5 for me.
@@ttvWideShoes yeah for us wide footers it can be very difficult to find good fitting basketball shoes. Adidas ball shoes like the harden 6, tre young 1, and Dame 8. Puma LaMelo 1, Jordan why not lines are great for wide footers. I currently enjoyed playing in my Jordan 36 as I went half size up to 9.5. Sometimes it just takes a long period of time for certain ball shoes to break in. Good luck bro and I'll forward to many of your ball shoes reviews.
Yeah I’m the same way with shoes I want to drop a video once I get them but I feel like I’ll be giving false info if I don’t play if them for a few days and games.
I don’t think you’ll have to wear them as long as I did. But because I thought the were so good- I wanted to do my due justice for the shoes. I also so a few reviewers make update videos to the shoe- which I have never seen before
True to size is too snug for me (Regular Asian size) , so I went up half a size and it works well. Hill slippage wasn't an issue, just adjust the lacing and you're good to go. Overall, the traction, light weight, full air strobel and comfort is superb. No experience pain whatsoever, good buy for me.
I’m thinking of getting another pair half a size up- seems like a lot of my viewers had the same experience as you. Thank you so much for commenting and letting people know your experience
I feel the exact same about the cushioning. I prefer thick, high off the ground shoes (Jordan 37, Lebron 19, GT Run, etc). Playing in these has my head conflicted lol, I feel close to the court (which I absolutely hate) but also feel impact protection and don’t feel sore after playing. I still have 40 days to play in them and decide if I am keeping them, but so far I really love everything about them. The adjustment of the lacing gets annoying at the times but as the shoe has broken in I pretty much get the good fit at first tie. If these didn’t have heel slip (which I’ve adjusted to and learned how to handle) and had a higher off the ground feel, these would be literally the perfect shoe. They also need an outrigger or wider base, that would put these over the top. The traction is insane, even on dusty courts (I have a solid outsole).
@@ttvWideShoes I don’t think I can bring myself to pay that much for a shoe with no Air tech. I’d much rather go back to the GT Jump or even Lebron 19 Low. If I were to leave Air I’d rather get the Harden Vol 7. Thanks for your reply and love your detailed reviews!
@@jrdatrackstar ok I see what you like now. I’m currently filming reviews again. Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anything with that ultra plush and high off the ground feel. I have been playing a lot in the Lebrons nxxt though and really like ot
Thank you so much for the comment- yes. Right now I got a bit behind with making videos. I have the shoe scheduled to be bought on the 29th. I currently am filming a review of the Zoom freak 4’s, new Jordan 37’s, and the new Paul George shoes. Really interested in the Lebrons this year
If you look at the insole, it runs up the heel higher than most insoles I’ve seen with superior lockdown. I think the insole material is leading to the heel slippage.
If you look at my channel I have a review on the cosmic unity 2’s. Essentially- if you’re wanting more cushioning and have much narrower feet the unity 2s are better. For me personally- the kd15 was better for making quick cuts. Overall, it’s hard to say without knowing what you prefer or what shoes you’ve liked in the past
@@ttvWideShoes I’ve owned the cosmic unitys and loved those, and prior to that the OG hyperrevs. I need full length zoom that maintains court feel. Love to cut and step back.
@@mannypelayo7370 The cosmic unity 1's are very different than the new model. I am currently testing the zoom freak 4's, along with the newish paul georges. Out of all the shoes I am testing the KD15 sounds like a good fit for you. You may want to also try Puma's new basketball shoe. I will also get ahold of the Gt cut 2's soon. Hello, First I just want to say thank you for your comment. Helps my videos out a ton. So far my best shoe for wide footers is last years Paul George shoes. (The Paul George 5’s). I am currently testing the Paul George 6’s, which are wide footer friendly but run a bit long. Additionally, I will be trying the new zoom freaks soon and those may be a good wide foot option. So far Pumas new basketball shoe seems like a great option for wide footers
After all the negative comment still got a 91? These also hurts my feet. These are not even on my top 10 list. One of the worst shoes in my collections.
Yes- it was one of the most complicated scores I’ve given. When the shoe works for me, it’s amazing (literally one of the best performing shoes I’ve ever had). When the shoe cramps my foot, it’s bad though. I think maybe I should’ve went half a size up, but overall the shoe performs extremely well for me
@@BMBball preferences for shoes can change, just find a pair you currently like and over time you’ll get lucky. Having a pair that works really well is a huge advantage
The most useful review of KD 15s I've seen so far. Especially the part on the heel slippage everone dredges. Thanks.
