Congratulations on getting hitched, and much respect on your shoe selection! So glad to finally find a reviewer with exactly my body/foot type! Hell knows finding good basketball kicks for us can be a hurdle
I am glad I could help you out- I started this channel because all of the shoe reviewers online didn’t have feet similar to my own. Essentially, us wide footers always have to take some extra steps to figure out what will work for us! Thank you for the support, my wife is the camera woman for all these reviews too
@@christiancouture2194 I appreciate it, I am about 500 watch hours away from monetisation so thanks for watching my videos and commenting on them. Its helping me get closer to getting the💰 from RUclips.
Yo! Huge fan of your recent video happy to see you here! And yea- the shoes from Nike are just getting cheaper and cheaper… wierd choice in my opinion and sad to see the KD going in this direction
@@ttvWideShoes Man that is crazy that the cushioning gets even lower to the ground in the 17s, I thought the 16 was low enough in the forefoot! They start off pretty thick feeling but I was disappointed to find that it was really the insole (after really breaking them in more).
@@jrdatrackstar the cushioning, it was really bad for me at first but after some time it changed and got super good. The shoe also molded to my foot over time
Both are good, in terms of durability, it’s really neck and neck. If you want something bouncier the gt academy is better. If you want something with better traction- the witness 8 is better. What preferences do you have?
@@ttvWideShoes I'm currently using Puma Playmaker Pro and wanted shoes that were less heavy. I play as a shooting guard. My main preferences are cushioning, impact protection, durability (on cemented courts) and ankle support. I've ordered the GT cut academy but noticed that the witness 8's were available at the same price, so was confused whether I should return the academy and get the witness

Love the video! Great analysis!
Thanks, I try a lot to make these reviews so people have a better understanding of what they’re getting
Your definitely the only One I know who got married in a KD 😂💯 respect
I would be surprised if you knew anyone else 😂
Thanks for the review man! The plastic piece as part of the insole is beyond me!

@@ttvWideShoes sure thing man, I'm tuned in! Yeah, it really is sad.. its almost like they don't see whats happening around them.
Thank you for this video, glad I grabbed the last 16s on Nike.
Just a way better option in every way

@@jrdatrackstar I didn’t like the KD 16 at first, but after breaking it in, I really do like it now. But it took so long to break in.
@@ttvWideShoes Are you referring to the cushioning or just the shoe overall?

great review. the penny colorway is xdr rubber, maybe more durable than yours
@@christophermichaelsanchez4470 I think you’re right, may not help with the instability though
Personally i will keep Wow10, KD16 will in hall of frame cabinet.
Sounds right to me
Hey, which one would you prefer for outdoors and comfort, GT cut academy or Witness 8?
